Who understands this feeling, my friends?! I randomly blind-booked this B&B for my Chongqing trip, and it gave me one of the most high-light experiences of my life 😭. Yolo Private Hot Spring Designer Hotel – truly a hidden gem!
I went for its reputation of being “closest to the Yangtze River,” and as soon as I opened the door, the floor-to-ceiling windows completely captivated me! Outside the window, the mighty waters of the Yangtze River flowed beneath the Chongqing Yangtze River Bridge. The shimmering river surface had its own cinematic filter, delivering an immediate impact 💥. I couldn't wait to fill the tub with hot spring water and soak while watching the river rush by – it was so comfortable I almost wanted to scream!
The room design truly aligns with my aesthetic. It completely breaks away from the rigid layout of traditional B&Bs. The artistic, staggered arrangement clearly defines areas for living room viewing, hot spring scenic viewing, a minibar/luggage area, and a dry-wet separated bathroom. It's spacious and comfortable; I almost wish I could move in permanently!
The details are also super impressive! The minibar fridge not only had mineral water but also four cans of Coke. After a hot private spring soak, chugging an ice-cold Coke – who understands this joy?! The suite we booked had two bedrooms. Each room was super large, and the beds were so soft, like sinking into a cloud. Most importantly, each room had large floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to enjoy a prime river view right from your bed. This experience was absolutely legendary!
Oh, and by the way! The Times Fengjun (TF Entertainment) office building is right next door. K-pop fans will be thrilled! You might even bump into your idol around the corner. This trip to Chongqing was truly a huge win!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, right next to a scenic spot, and it's a short walk to Jiefangbei, so no need for a car. We booked a four-bedroom detached villa with a large courtyard, perfect for a family to enjoy tea, chat, and dine together. There's also a big rooftop terrace where you can watch the cable cars. All the bedrooms are spacious and have their own private bathrooms. The environment is fantastic, and everything is very clean. The butler service was attentive, making for a very pleasant stay.

TTaiyangwenquandanThe room was fantastic, with a strong Chinese aesthetic. Most of the furniture and facilities were made of wood, which was very comfortable. There was even a mahjong table, though we couldn't gather enough people to play, haha! The bed was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we also received a complimentary enhanced hot spring experience. We chose lavender, and to our surprise, it was freshly brewed, which was a lovely surprise. After checking out, I left my power bank in the room, and it wasn't convenient to arrange a courier. Our butler, Xiaoya, brought it to us the next morning, for which I'm extremely grateful.
Both the check-in and check-out services were excellent. When we left, we didn't even need to go to the front desk to check out, but the butler still chased us out from the front desk to say goodbye, ask about our stay, and see us off.
Although breakfast for two was included when we booked the room, we didn't wake up in time. I'll definitely try it next time I visit!

MM572345****This stay was fantastic! During check-in, staff member Xiao Chen was incredibly welcoming and patiently answered all my questions about the hotel facilities and nearby transportation. She was all smiles and provided meticulous and attentive service. Even more surprisingly, Xiao Chen offered to upgrade my room for free. The upgraded room was more spacious, had a fantastic view, was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable – a truly wonderful stay! The hotel's overall environment is also excellent, with complete facilities and a convenient location, making it incredibly convenient for both getting around and relaxing. I sincerely thank Xiao Chen for her thoughtful service, which made the entire trip even better. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time and will recommend it to my friends!

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature.
The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected.
Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

MM44643****The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which made access a bit inconvenient. Right outside, there's a small stream where children can play in the water and catch crabs, which they absolutely loved. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of options. For lunch and dinner, we dined at Tianxing Town, right opposite the hotel. Most restaurants there served similar fare. However, I'd strongly advise against a place called 'Nongjia Cai' (Farmer's Dishes). Their ventilation was terrible, making it very smoky and unpleasant to eat. On top of that, they charged a 4 RMB seating fee even for our 3-year-old, a charge that none of the other restaurants in the area imposed.

As soon as I entered the hotel, the lobby was spacious and bright, the decoration was exquisite and grand, and I was instantly impressed. The front desk staff was super enthusiastic, checked in quickly, and introduced the hotel facilities attentively. The service was so good.
The breakfast was rich in variety, with both Chinese and Western food, and the taste was super good, starting a day full of vitality. The hotel gym is fully equipped, the swimming pool is clear, and it is super suitable for leisure and relaxation. The location is also great, there are many delicious foods around, and it is convenient to travel. Highly recommended to everyone!

The staff were all very welcoming, and Ms. Zhao at the front desk was very attentive and even gave us shortcuts. The complimentary fan was also very nice [smirk]. Takeout late-night snacks can be delivered to your room, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserFrankly, I didn't expect the location to be a bit remote when I booked this hotel. But remoteness is also good, it is quiet, and it is a lake view when going out, the scenery is very beautiful. Although it is remote, it is only about 2 kilometers away from the nearest town. After dinner in the town, it can also be used as a half-hour walk back. The walk is wide and clean, and the green trees on both sides are pleasing to the eye.
The hotel was originally a spa, the outdoor garden design was excellent, the different pools were covered by plant designs, and the privacy was high. The fly in the ointment is that when we go, it is the off-season, and there are few guests in the hotel, so many pools are not functioning.
The room is large and can accommodate a sparrow. The shower room is wide and the sanitary conditions are very good.
The breakfast options are varied and very good.
