Hotels With Airport pickup service in Trat Province, Thailand

First time book this hotel but many time visited koh chang. Hotel location is not really good in term of beach area. It is in between the exit point of a small cannel so whenever i want to get to the sea, i need to walk to the near by hotel to enter the cleaner water. Staff and service are excellent. Breakfast quality is pretty decent compare to other hotels that im visiting.

We had family visiting Thailand for the first time, and we stayed at both the Koh Chang Paradise Hill Resort and the sister resort Koh Chang Paradise Resort across the street. If you want to read about my awful experience at the sister resort, Koh Chang Paradise, you can read my other review. Our stay at the Koh Chang Paradise Hill Resort was fun and relaxing. My kids enjoyed the waterpark and the beach. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Two thumbs up for the staff! The only negative experience I had with a staff member was at breakfast one morning. I had sprained my ankle right before our beach holiday and was hobbling around at breakfast filling up my personal mug with tea because the provided cups were really small and I didn’t want to have to get up multiple times to refill the small cup. A chef got angry at me and told me to not use my personal mug. He raised his voice at me and told me unkindly to not do what I was doing. I explained to him that I had hurt my ankle and did not want to get up multiple times to get more tea. I don’t think he really listened to me because he kept talking to me with an angry voice about not using my cup. Thankfully all the other staff at breakfast have been great. The lifeguards at the pool were great. One of the kids in our group slipped and cut her foot, and they cared for her with proper first aid. I appreciated their professional approach! Cleaning ladies were cheerful and smiled a lot.

The hotel has its own beach. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast. My room was spacious. However, so many ants were in my room. Water was not hot enough and water pressure was low in the shower. The bathroom had big glass window but the curtain could not be fully closed so that my friend could see me having a bath. TV had no signal so that I needed to ask the hotel to fix it.

Traveling to Koh Chang on Songkran Day, if the Accor Group uses benefits, it must be considered. Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway booked a Standard room but was upgraded to a Deluxe Seaview room and received Platinum benefits. Quite complete. The room is okay. I like it because I have to pay only 1,402 baht per night. The room is full due to a long holiday. I'm glad I upgraded. I have reserved 3 rooms, there are welcome drinks for all 3 rooms. For dinner, most of the guests leave their stomachs at the Buffet Hotel because it is Songkran Festival. Accor Plus cannot use the discount at all. The price is not expensive, only 530 baht per person, but.. Phra Chuay Thai food is delicious. Anyone staying here recommends trying Thai food. The happy hour here is satisfyingly long from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Anyone who eats the buffet will receive a buy 1 free 1 promotion until 10:00 p.m., very worthwhile. The highlight of this place is a lot of photo angles, and taking beautiful photos, but the beach is not okay, which is a weak point. The sea water is hardly played because there are a lot of rocks. I mostly stay at the swimming pool 100% recommend if anyone sleeps here to relax and snorkel on the last day, come back to swim at the pool, take chic photos and eat buffet 🙂 Breakfast is quite suitable for Thai people, focusing on spicy Thai food. It also has my favorite pizza. The hotel has a Starbucks on the beach but does not participate in a star or membership program. For me, April 13-15 is a rest day. I'm pretty happy here. Let's just say for Accor members or group members. If anyone comes to Koh Chang, recommend here. You can get both nights and points. If there is any problem during your stay, I suggest you don't wait, hurry and share with him. He knows the problem and is ready to take care of it immediately. Come to Koh Chang next time, Mercure is still our choice.

This place is heaven on earth! The welcome at reception sets the tone for the rest of your stay! We arrived with back packs from Pattaya and We were treated like VIPs. Absolute top class! Staff are amazing! Food was amazing. The rooms are outstanding and the local town is warm and friendly! The random visits from monkeys is an amazing addition! But be aware, they actually do creep up on you and open your room doors!! Staff aren’t joking! We’ve stayed on many islands and many places in Thailand but our expectations were exceeded here. The grounds are well kept, the surroundings are superb! My only disappointment was that the tides were high so we didn’t have any beach during our stay! (No fault of Sylvan!) I just hope the cost doesn’t get too high that they price us out of spending another break there next year!

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. The swimming pool was great, however the Waterslide was not working. The Jacuzzi in the room is not good as the water jet does not really hit on the body. Breakfast was very good. Location wise it is walking distance to most restaurants and shops.

I read numerous reviews from different sites mostly pre pandemic. Numerous negative comments primarily focused on the lack of maintenance relating to bungalows and surrounding grounds. Well after my first day here I can say nothing has changed. I paid 2470 baht per night for my aircon bungalow x 5 nights. Generally, as long as the room is devoid of bugs and the aircon, tv, fridge and hot water all work (all okay here) I'm not too fussed about decor etc. But I think the price to value ratio lacked equity. I say this based on comparative island establishments from my extensive traveling around Thailand. Only the pool and beach were redeeming features for me. Breakfast was ordered from a set menu plus toast, juices and fruit. This switched to a buffet when there were enough guests. It was adequate for me. A ground maintenance crew turned up on my second day so they would have been kept busy for some time. The resort did organise a fire show on the Saturday night. I did not leave Koh Kood with a fond memory of my bungalow but I did toward the friendly, helpful and attentive staff and the location on this beautiful island.

The location is seafront not beachfront as seen from photos if you bother to do some simple research. However, the resort provides a man made sand area with furniture overlooking the sea. Alternatively, walk a mere 2 minutes down the main road to access White Sands beach. The property enjoys a 7-11, Macro and beer bar complex nearby. It is only a short walk to White Elephant Sports bar and to restaurants, travel agencies and your typical beach shops down along the main road. The seaside complex provides an infinity pool, a long pool beside the bungalow rooms, beach bar and restaurant where all guests partake breakfast. Both the seaside and hillside complexes have a dedicated reception area. I found staff at both were friendly and probably able to assist you if you have done no research about Koh Chang. On this visit I opted for a hillside room as I was seeking overall value. I had read reviews that seaside rooms can be affected by noise at night emanating from the nearby beer bar complex. My room was situated on the east side of the building (3 floors) and was not affected by any noise at night. I even had a water view from my balcony. My room was spacious and clean. The aircon, fridge and TV worked fine. The wardrobe had hangers with some shelving space. A long bench space with drawers to place your things. A small table and two children was useful. Lighting was very good. The bathroom was also modern looking with segregated shower recess. Good hot water with good pressure. The buffet breakfast was excellent. All the possible food options have you covered including an egg station. Enough seating given the number of guests coming and going. Overall, the resort and my room provided me with what I wanted, a comfortable and quiet stay.

They have many variants of each room type , but they use a collection of photos from each room to create ”one room”. This means when you arrive your room won't be as you expected it. Our ”suite” was sold with pictures (and description) as being a Thai style house, with separate living area, a sun drenched reading area / lounge, and a double sized outdoor sun lounging terrace. £95 a night (half price apparently, according to ***********). The reality was one large bedroom, one bathroom. No lounge. The far walls were painted breeze block with a TV attached that you cant realistically watch unless standing. No phone. Nothing. Very basic for £95. Sun deck half the size of the photos. My complaints were met with confusion by a teenage reception trainee. I got the distinct feeling I was not the first to complain. The photos sold a wooden panelled Thai house with sun room. We got a very large square largely-empty room. Excitement of a treat turned to disappointment. We eventually got moved to a private pool suite. Nice room (way way nicer then the other) but the pool is on the shaded side, facing the road and a strip / ****** club. A novelty as you won't use it other than first thing in the morning when it gets the sun ( the pool , not the *******). We subsequently downgraded to a garden view room which was, in fairness, lovely. The beach is superb. Clear water, gets deep fairly fast. Nice swings and hammocks. The bar staff are lovely and could not do enough to help. Always willing to extend happy hour :-) special thanks to Yoyo and his dark haired friend who were a joy to deal with. The food is fine but severely limited. Fried rice 10 ways, or chicken nuggets. It's a crying shame as the beach bar empties before 9pm. There is so much more on offer only yards away down the road. The food offering is cut back and lazy. The top infinity pool is stunning,and often,you are the only ones there. Dec 2022 and they had not filled it completely until a week of being here . One one occasion we went up to find three divers doing their PADI in the pool. Rather cheeky! The bottom pool is unused. Tips: do not let the young trainee take any kind of bookings. I'm going to call her ”smiles a lot”. Smiles A Lot will give you a firm price for extending your stay after being on the phone to her boss, down to the last baht. When you go to move rooms she will deny you had an entire conversation the previous day, smile, blink, smile, and ignore there is any issue. Her colleague said ”she is just a trainee”, we said, ” we now have nowhere to stay.!!”. Useless. After two years of no trade, I get it, they are recovering, but this place is fairly run down. It took a week for large tubs of building materials to be removed from the top pool area. They are getting there though. It improves every day. The family po

Before the two beaches 10 minutes walk, lots of cafes and shops around. On the other hand, two expensive hotels, so quiet. And a very beautiful view on the mountains. From the downsides - did not work wifi in the rooms.

Kho Chang is a beautiful island covered with trees, mountains and waterfalls. There are perfect beaches on its western shore. On one of these is Coconut Beach Resort. It's scale and architecture suit this island. Some larger hotels there might as well be in overdeveloped cities. Accommodation is in clusters of two-story buildings innThai style, grouped around a beautiful swimming pool and tropical gardens. There are trees on the beach with hanging swings and womb chairs. The restaurant has tables at the edge of the beach. The Thai food is delicious - seafood in red curry, whole fish simmering at your table, grilled prawns - and there are cocktails to complete the holiday treat. Service is friendly and efficient.

It was a 3-day-and-2-night trip with my friends and my 9-year-old daughter so we booked 2 villas with a private swimming pool. The villas are not new or super neatly cleaned but all are okay and kind of acceptable. The best thing is the resort staff. They are super nice, fun and friendly. They are ready to drop everything they are doing just to talk to you and answer your question. No matter how silly it is! They make me feel like they are ready to solve all the problems in the world for you, if asked! My daughter loves fishing there (even though she didn't get any fish lol). We borrowed the fishing rod from one of the nicest (probably) front desk staff who didn't seem to be bothered spending time teaching my daughter how to safely use the equipment. Wish I could ask for his name before we left. So I could give him better compliment. The view is just magical. Kayaking is also super fun. The Food is ways, ways better than we expected. The night bartender is a super cool & funny guy. He hosted the funniest Hermit crab racing in the world!

The hotel was immersed in a wonderful nature, the cleaning was not perfect and the room was large, but we missed some comfort we used to, like the TV, the light lock and the bedside comfort. There was the minimum necessary, but it was right, breakfast was ”different” from ours, little coffee or milk (not available), but rice and eggs and salted meals. If it happens to you and you do not have too much claims spending the right on this island, it is the hotel that makes for you!

Great location, and good, spacious rooms (although it takes time to get used to locking the doors). However, staff service is poor. At breakfast, staff doesn’t seem to be happy with what they’re doing and would sometimes ignore guests. The staff cooking the eggs were kind though. Resort also doesn’t offer ground coffee drinks so we got stuck with powdered coffee until we found out about the two coffee shops that are walking distance from the resort. Food can be improved too: breakfast’s okay but doesn’t offer diversity. You’ll get bored with the food after a few days. Beach and the sunset is marvelous though!

Une honte! Nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel Suanya pour passer quelques jours au calme et dans un cadre idyllique. Malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas…. À la découverte du cadre nous avons été enchanté cet enchantement s’est très vite transformé en déception puis en colère. En effet la chambre qui nous a été proposé se trouvait être insalubre! Elle ne se situe pas dans le complexe de l’hôtel mais à l’extérieur dans un bâtiment qui ne donne aucune envie d’y entrer! Aucune fenêtre, un « balcon » donnant sur les égouts! La salle de bain était le pire de cette « chambre » présence de saletés de moisissures et de rouilles sur la porte et la robinetterie! L’aération donnant sur les égouts des vagues d’odeur immonde imprégnaient la pièce, de plus la présence de trous laissaient tout le loisir aux divers insectes d’investir notre « chambre ». Le lit n’avait pas de couverture nous en avons demandé et nous avons eu le droit à un plaid et une serviette… Nous avons demandé au personnel de changer de chambre mais pour seul réponse nous avons eu « c’est complet! ». Le personnel n’a eu aucune considération pour notre bien être, peu aimable dans toute circonstances. Nous avons donc quitté l’hôtel plus tôt pour trouver meilleur et dans des prix similaires! A fuir!

Amazing beach! The hotel area is a well-kept garden, very beautiful. Great breakfasts! The prices are not low, but with discounts it is quite an acceptable price/quality ratio. The hotel has not been renovated for a long time, but after the pandemic, cosmetic repairs and major cleaning are noticeable. Although the covering on the verandas still needs replacing - just nails are sticking out in places - the child was not allowed to run around there. The hotel restaurant is probably the most frustrating thing, the prices are super high, the quality of the food is low: for almost 500 baht (price 400 + fees + taxes), we got a pizza with a diameter of 30 cm from frozen dough. This is a fiasco, bro. In general, only beer and then for 150 baht. There is all the infrastructure on the road 800 meters away, including fruits and cafes and hardware stores, but 800 meters uphill) you can ask the hotel transport to take you there, but back on foot, albeit from a hill))) but with almost no lighting. Karrche needs to take a bike, 300 baht per day, by the way, it’s brand new. In general, for the experience of a paradise for 7900 rubles / night - it’s the best!

Rooms are very nice the only downside of the room was barely no hot water. Beach is beautiful. Service and staff was good ok but lots of trainees and not well managed and trained personell. Breakfast was way under average in terms of quality and especially variety. Not even 3 stars in this respect. Food and service at the beach restaurant was good especially the service from K. Namphung and her team was very good. Cleanliness of the entire resort including pathways, water ponds can be improved.

We chose this place without knowing much about the island of ko mak. The hotel is very pleasant, green environment, the huts are pretty and clean, the swimming pool is a big plus and pleasant. The only concern is that you have to rent a scooter to get around, which was done through the hotel.

This place is a gem. Wonderful location, lovely staff and great amenities. My wife and I have stayed here twice and will stay here everytime we travel to Koh Mak. The one complaint would be that the outdoor chairs for the hillside units are very uncomfortable and definitely short on padding. My wife and I love Mira Montra and Koh Mak Island. We can't wait to return.

Considering this was our most expensive accommodation on a 3 week tour of Thailand (Approx £178 per night for 2 adults and 1 child) this was our most disappointing hotel. We booked the ground floor Sea Horse so we’d have easy access to the beach and pool. First impressions were good, the views were incredible. However on closer inspection the bathroom was awful. It felt dirty, well in need of updating and had a terrible sewer smell, to the point we didn’t want to use it. The towels and sheets were all stained. Although the room was huge there’s no furniture to unpack anything, or surfaces to put anything. The kettle is no where near a plug. And there’s an unnecessary full size fridge freezer, when a wardrobe would be more useful. Although there was a large deck by the pool there was no drying rack and no seating which would have been nice to make the most of the pool which was pretty much just for decoration. The breakfast was terrible with very little choice. The staff were mostly indifferent, never very friendly or smiley. The only redeeming feature was the beach which was absolutely stunning. I read numerous reviews from different sites mostly pre pandemic. Numerous negative comments primarily focused on the lack of maintenance relating to bungalows and surrounding grounds. Well after my first day here I can say nothing has changed. I paid 2470 baht per night for my aircon bungalow x 5 nights. Generally, as long as the room is devoid of bugs and the aircon, tv, fridge and hot water all work (all okay here) I'm not too fussed about decor etc. But I think the price to value ratio lacked equity. I say this based on comparative island establishments from my extensive traveling around Thailand. Only the pool and beach were redeeming features for me. Breakfast was ordered from a set menu plus toast, juices and fruit. This switched to a buffet when there were enough guests. It was adequate for me. A ground maintenance crew turned up on my second day so they would have been kept busy for some time. The resort did organise a fire show on the Saturday night. I did not leave Koh Kood with a fond memory of my bungalow but I did toward the friendly, helpful and attentive staff and the location on this beautiful island.

It was a 3-day-and-2-night trip with my friends and my 9-year-old daughter so we booked 2 villas with a private swimming pool. The villas are not new or super neatly cleaned but all are okay and kind of acceptable. The best thing is the resort staff. They are super nice, fun and friendly. They are ready to drop everything they are doing just to talk to you and answer your question. No matter how silly it is! They make me feel like they are ready to solve all the problems in the world for you, if asked! My daughter loves fishing there (even though she didn't get any fish lol). We borrowed the fishing rod from one of the nicest (probably) front desk staff who didn't seem to be bothered spending time teaching my daughter how to safely use the equipment. Wish I could ask for his name before we left. So I could give him better compliment. The view is just magical. Kayaking is also super fun. The Food is ways, ways better than we expected. The night bartender is a super cool & funny guy. He hosted the funniest Hermit crab racing in the world!

The hotel was immersed in a wonderful nature, the cleaning was not perfect and the room was large, but we missed some comfort we used to, like the TV, the light lock and the bedside comfort. There was the minimum necessary, but it was right, breakfast was ”different” from ours, little coffee or milk (not available), but rice and eggs and salted meals. If it happens to you and you do not have too much claims spending the right on this island, it is the hotel that makes for you!

Great location, and good, spacious rooms (although it takes time to get used to locking the doors). However, staff service is poor. At breakfast, staff doesn’t seem to be happy with what they’re doing and would sometimes ignore guests. The staff cooking the eggs were kind though. Resort also doesn’t offer ground coffee drinks so we got stuck with powdered coffee until we found out about the two coffee shops that are walking distance from the resort. Food can be improved too: breakfast’s okay but doesn’t offer diversity. You’ll get bored with the food after a few days. Beach and the sunset is marvelous though!

Une honte! Nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel Suanya pour passer quelques jours au calme et dans un cadre idyllique. Malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas…. À la découverte du cadre nous avons été enchanté cet enchantement s’est très vite transformé en déception puis en colère. En effet la chambre qui nous a été proposé se trouvait être insalubre! Elle ne se situe pas dans le complexe de l’hôtel mais à l’extérieur dans un bâtiment qui ne donne aucune envie d’y entrer! Aucune fenêtre, un « balcon » donnant sur les égouts! La salle de bain était le pire de cette « chambre » présence de saletés de moisissures et de rouilles sur la porte et la robinetterie! L’aération donnant sur les égouts des vagues d’odeur immonde imprégnaient la pièce, de plus la présence de trous laissaient tout le loisir aux divers insectes d’investir notre « chambre ». Le lit n’avait pas de couverture nous en avons demandé et nous avons eu le droit à un plaid et une serviette… Nous avons demandé au personnel de changer de chambre mais pour seul réponse nous avons eu « c’est complet! ». Le personnel n’a eu aucune considération pour notre bien être, peu aimable dans toute circonstances. Nous avons donc quitté l’hôtel plus tôt pour trouver meilleur et dans des prix similaires! A fuir!

Amazing beach! The hotel area is a well-kept garden, very beautiful. Great breakfasts! The prices are not low, but with discounts it is quite an acceptable price/quality ratio. The hotel has not been renovated for a long time, but after the pandemic, cosmetic repairs and major cleaning are noticeable. Although the covering on the verandas still needs replacing - just nails are sticking out in places - the child was not allowed to run around there. The hotel restaurant is probably the most frustrating thing, the prices are super high, the quality of the food is low: for almost 500 baht (price 400 + fees + taxes), we got a pizza with a diameter of 30 cm from frozen dough. This is a fiasco, bro. In general, only beer and then for 150 baht. There is all the infrastructure on the road 800 meters away, including fruits and cafes and hardware stores, but 800 meters uphill) you can ask the hotel transport to take you there, but back on foot, albeit from a hill))) but with almost no lighting. Karrche needs to take a bike, 300 baht per day, by the way, it’s brand new. In general, for the experience of a paradise for 7900 rubles / night - it’s the best!

Rooms are very nice the only downside of the room was barely no hot water. Beach is beautiful. Service and staff was good ok but lots of trainees and not well managed and trained personell. Breakfast was way under average in terms of quality and especially variety. Not even 3 stars in this respect. Food and service at the beach restaurant was good especially the service from K. Namphung and her team was very good. Cleanliness of the entire resort including pathways, water ponds can be improved.

Considering this was our most expensive accommodation on a 3 week tour of Thailand (Approx £178 per night for 2 adults and 1 child) this was our most disappointing hotel. We booked the ground floor Sea Horse so we’d have easy access to the beach and pool. First impressions were good, the views were incredible. However on closer inspection the bathroom was awful. It felt dirty, well in need of updating and had a terrible sewer smell, to the point we didn’t want to use it. The towels and sheets were all stained. Although the room was huge there’s no furniture to unpack anything, or surfaces to put anything. The kettle is no where near a plug. And there’s an unnecessary full size fridge freezer, when a wardrobe would be more useful. Although there was a large deck by the pool there was no drying rack and no seating which would have been nice to make the most of the pool which was pretty much just for decoration. The breakfast was terrible with very little choice. The staff were mostly indifferent, never very friendly or smiley. The only redeeming feature was the beach which was absolutely stunning. Wir waren unsere letzten 3 Nächte auf der Insel in diesem Resort um uns noch einmal ein paar schöne letzte Tage zu machen. Zuvor waren wir für 2 Nächte in einem Hostel auch auf Koh Kood, dort haben wir uns leider wohler gefühlt als in diesem Resort. Das Resort ist anscheinend seit 2015 eröffnet und wird nun (vielleicht auch durch COVID) herunter gewirtschaftet. Wird wurden bei der Ankunft nicht begrüßt, lediglich nach dem Reisepass in einem unfreundlichen Ton gefragt. Die Zimmer werden nicht richtig geputzt. Unser Zimmer hat muffelig gerochen als wäre ein Tier im Zimmer gestorben ;D. Die Toilette war verdreckt mit Haaren von den vorherigen Besuchern. In der Dusche war ein Toter Käfer im Seifenspender. Die Eingangstüre ließ sich nur mit Gewalt verschließen da der elektronische Schließmechanismus kaputt war und somit die Türe mit einem normalen Schlüssel verschlossen werden musste was nicht ging da die Türe verschoben war. Nach der ersten Nacht haben wir abgewartet ob die verdreckte Toilette und der Käfer vom Zimmerservice entfernt werden, dies war nicht der Fall. Wir haben also den Zimmerservice darauf angesprochen woraufhin die Mängel im Bad beseitigt wurden aber auch nicht mehr als nötig gemacht wurde. Abends wird hier nichts geboten an Entertainment. Vom Steg aus ist Abends zu erkennen, dass in den benachbarten Resorts beleuchtet ist und der einzige Abteil am Strand des Medee Resorts nicht. Positiv: Zwei sehr süße Hunde um die sich auch gut gekümmert wird. Fazit: Das Resort ist auf jeden Fall zu teuer (90€ die Nacht). Es könnte hier sehr schön sein wenn sich ein bisschen um kleine Mängel gekümmert wird aber das ist nicht der Fall. Vorherige schlechte Bewertungen kann ich leider bestätigen. Warum sich hier um nichts gekümmert wird ist mir ein Rätsel. Es scheint als hätten die Besitzer einfach keine Lust sich um etwas zu kümmern.

Facilities: I have stayed in the best hotel in Thailand and the founder of Six Senses, so it is quite similar to Six Senses, but it feels better than Six Senses Koh Samui. Maybe the location and the pick-up by private jet and yacht will make the experience even more upgraded. The brightest point is that the hotel's breakfast is superb Environment: very good feeling back to nature Hygiene: excellent and impeccable Very satisfied with the 3-week trip to Thailand. Soneva is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Thailand. From the environment to the service to the additional items of the hotel, I recommend everyone to go diving and fishing. The price is also very reasonable. I plan to go there again at the end of the year
