I would like to say a big thank you to all at Canareef for a great honeymoon. We stayed in villa 662 with a fabulous palm fringed view and hot tub, with welcome blossoms on our bed and wine in the fridge on arrival. All the staff from the airport pick up, boat transfer, reception, housekeeping, restaurants and bars were great, especially our waiter Fariq who moved us to a beautiful table overlooking the reef and had our wine always ready. It was the end of the rainy season with some heavy rain and storms, we felt for our housekeeper Faud (not sure if spelling is correct) who brought us water and supplies in the pouring rain on his bike. We were pleased that after a couple of cancellations due to the rain, the amazing dolphin trip went ahead and it was well worth it to be able to see hundreds of wild dolphins. Even in the rain the Doni bar kept us entertained and our hot tub was well used. We enjoyed the food especially the many curries. We liked the free bikes and buggies to enjoy the whole resort. It is worth going to see the fish being fed off the jetty they are really quite big and the sunset cocktail party was great for scenic photos. It was a very enjoyable holiday, the snorkeling from the sunset beach was better some days than others, it is worth trying at different times of day and taking your own masks, it is well worth going AI and if coming from Europe staying for more than a week we spent 12 lovely days here as it is a a long way. Canareef offers a beautiful relaxing holiday just what we were hoping for.
