Lodging: I felt very safe, which is not something I can say about some safari lodgings I have stayed. The entire area is fenced in, which keeps larger prey out! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and introduced to their lodging with a briefing of meal times, drive times, and options. Shamrock was very helpful. We were told to alert them immediately if there were any issues. Our tent didn't have hot water for a while, and they fixed it immediately. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Safari Drives: Our drivers were Patrick and LaShawn. They were very good at finding animals and we were able to see a pack of Hyena eating a hippo down to the ribs, a leopard in a tree protecting his Impala kill, a pride of lion, a large heard of elephant, and many of the easier to find animals. The only thing we didn't get to see is cheetah. That was a disappointment, but not the fault of the drivers. They just weren't out when we were there. Meals: Meals were delicious and well presented. The wait staff were attentive and helpful. We had a picky eater (young child) in our group and they accommodated his well. I probably should have taken some photos, but I was too busy eating! Improvements: The only thing I really want people to know is that you can pay for the stay by credit card, but you need to pay for the Mara fees, tips, and any souvenirs, in CASH only. This presented an issue as there were no ATMs nearby. So, make sure you can cover all of that in cash. I was unable to leave as much tip for the wait staff as I would have liked due to not having enough cash. Check with the camp on conservatory fees and plan on enough cash BEFORE you go. I think it would be beneficial for the camp to allow us to include that in our credit card bill, I certainly would have been able to leave more tip.

We had a wonderful 3 days/nights at Naserian. The people who work there (many of the Masai) are just the best. I am still in contact with quite a few of them! The cabin was quite large, and the bed very comfortable (a king size!) and the bathroom was big (with 2 sinks!) everything was clean, though you can tell that it’s a bit older, is not brand-new looking. The Safari drives were wonderful, and our guide Patrick was super knowledgeable. He’s a great person! We also did a few walking safaris with the Masai- highly recommend!!!! To me this was the best part. The Masai, LeShan, John, and LeDama, were the most wonderful people (and I’m still in touch, thanks WhatsApp!) The food, cooked by chef Joshua, was the best food I had in my whole trip to Kenya. Joshua catered to my vegetarian palate, and made delicious food, from traditional ugali to homemade ice cream based on the flavors we wanted! I cannot recommend his food enough! The pool was out of commission (and will get completely redone, according to the manager), which was disappointing. But we loved learning how to throw the spear and shoot arrows with LeShan and John! I really can’t recommend the people at Naserian any higher. The reason to stay at Naserian is to meet these lovely souls. Everyone was so wonderful. I truly hope to cross paths with them again.

As a family, we needed a place to go and wind down. Naserian was the perfect place. Ww experienced very good customer service from the time we started the reservation process. We opted for self-drive and the manager was keen to direct us and ensure we were on the right track.( thank you Shadrack) Honestly, the guest experience was exceptional and the staff are simply the best! The camp was extremely clean and the food was fresh for every single meal. They also make their bread! ( I wish we got the recipe). They also took time to take us to game drives in the Mara! We are definitely going back.

Naserian means peace and it was very peaceful. We had a wonderful relaxing time. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. Please note you are in tents. Very sturdy tents, but nonetheless tents. This is glorified camping or glamping as some would say. So, there are bugs and wildlife. The game drives were fun, amazing, and informative about the animals. It was a wonderful 4 days and we hope to return in the future. Please be aware that you will have to pay a conservancy fee in shillings. Also, if you want to visit the rhinos and the Masi village it will require shillings. Finally, John makes some amazing jewelry and animal carvings. Bring extra shillings in order to take home some treasures.

AMAZING! The camp is a quick drive from the airstrip, and animals were seen along the way. The check in process was so smooth and because of our early arrival, breakfast was waiting for us. The camp is so beautiful and so much fun to walk through. With some late nights and early mornings, we had escorts with flash lights to help us when the sun was down. We were warned that with their completely-green electricity, it might take a minute for the showers to get warm — but that was not an issue! It took no time at all & was actually a little too hot at first! The food was incredible. We had to tell Chef Joshua to offer some lighter meals because we were stuffing ourselves, it was so good - we could not stop eating! We were the only people in the camp, so meals were made and plated specifically for us. The chef did say if there were larger groups, he would place a buffet for everyone. The staff was amazing. Even though we were the only visitors at the time, we never felt like we had too much attention on us from the staff — or that we were being a bother. Some afternoons, we moved polepole (slowly) & napped to prepare for the evening game drives. It was a wonderful balance to make us feel taken care of while providing space. Our host Moses coordinated us to have to lunch outside in the yard one day, had dinner by the fire on a chilly night, and our last night consisted of breakfast in the bush beside the River Mara (where we watched hippos lounging!) & a romantic dinner inside our room with the fireplace. Moses and the staff took the liberty to surprise us with the fireside dinners and lunch in the yard! This truly shows how thoughtful they are to go above and beyond to make this trip special. We requested champagne on our last evening game drive, and our drivers celebrated with us by drinking Coke & Sprite. We were able to munch on delicious light bites and take lots of pictures with our hosts, & learn so much about the area and the drivers themselves. Our game drivers, Patrick & Clifford, were perfect - they are so knowledgeable about the animals and the area. It’s completely understandable that these wild animals can be difficult to spot - but the drivers know where animals tend to frequent, their hunting schedule, and even their history (we learned about Kisaru the cheetah), which gives them a good idea on where they are likely to be seen. I casually asked if we might be lucky to find the lion cubs, and our very last drive we were able to find them! They also educated us on biology of the animals and even the process to become a game driver in the Mara. We took a hot air balloon ride, visited a Maasai Village, learned how to throw spears & shoot arrows, visited the conservation where the southern white rhinos live, and soaked in all the beauty the Maasai Mara has to offer. It was the best honeymoon ever. The General Manager Shadrack was so pleasant, made sure our many questions were answered via email before even arriving, and checked on

If you want a great experience in the Maasai Mara then you must stay here. My wife and I stayed at the Naserian Mara Camp for our honeymoon during late September of 2023. Our stay was everything and then some. We saw the Big 5, Hot Air Ballooned over the Mara, ate breakfast in the bush, drank champagne under the stars, saw Kisaru, the baddest cheetah in history, and her baby cubs, got treated like royalty, and had the time of our lives. The rooms are impeccable. The staff unbeatable. The food is top notch. The camp is environmentally conscious. What more could you ask for? Shadrack, the general manager, answered all of my questions, listened to all of my request, and then delivered an amazing experience. Moses was our host during our stay, and I can’t say enough about how excellent and thoughtful he was. Moses is not only a great host, but an even better human being. Our game drivers, Patrick and Clifford, are not just good at what they do, but they are the best at what they do. They are knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and just great to spend hours with driving across the beautiful landscape. They know the Lemek Conservancy like the back of their hand. They care about the animals, and they will care about your experience. Joshua, the chef, will deliver dish after dish after dish that somehow gets better and better each day. He will listen to your preferences, and he will care about your experience. The rest of the crew will be right there to look after your every need

We stayed in three different rooms for three nights during the high season in August. Naserian staff are very friendly and nice. The camp is located on a beautiful site. However, there are some serious drawbacks to staying here when visiting Maasai Mara, or any of the nearby Conservancy‘s. One of our rooms had a lot of ants in and around our toilet. Two of our three days we had no running water, either before leaving for our morning game drive or coming back after an all day game drive. Two of our three rooms had cold water for the entire stay (heating of the water is based on solar panels)- cold showers are never fun regardless of the outside weather. If you end up eating at the camp, food options are very limited, so not a lot of variety. A lot of monkeys or baboons are located within the camp. Many of these monkeys or baboons will make a lot of noise on top of your tent when you’re trying to go to sleep at night. Cannot use the swimming pool since there are a lot of insects in the pool & it is not well-maintained or clean. Not too many amenities or excursions here- very basic.

The accommodation was terrible! The camp is a nice place with great potential, but it's run terribly. The food was more like food for a school trip (for example - the packed luch was a hard boiled egg and a sandwich - twp slices of bread with a slive of cucumber and a slice of tomato, at the end of lunch we asked for a cup of coffee and were told we can come at 16:00 and drink! ) , the pool wasn't clean and couldn't swim, Very disappointing! We paid as if it's a luxury lodge, but it was all a basic as it comes...

Naserian is a very nice semi private camp with amazing large luxury tents, the best in the Mara. We bring our guests and visitors. The staff is very good and the food excellent. Game drives are always informative.
