Iris Apart is a smaller hotel somewhat centrally located. A lot of restaurants nearby and not that far away from the shopping streets and the pier with all the boats. Unfortunately it takes like 20-25 min (by walking) to get to Damalas beach, and even longer to get to Cleopatras beach. I booked a family room, it was spacious and with alot of space to move around in. It was more like an apartment since you also had access to kitchen utensils and even a stove. Refrigerator with a freezer and a decent sized TV. Air conditioning in the bedroom worked fine. Bathroom was also decently sized with a shower. The balcony was one of the biggest I’ve ever had. If you speak Finish you will be happily surprised to know that nearly everyone speaks your language. The staff is overall very friendly and inviting. It’s a pity that the walls is thin as paper, and you can hear everything outside of your room, both from inside as well as outside of the hotel. There was also a pool which i didn’t try out due to it’s size, but it is an nice addition to have. I also booked breakfast for my week there. And i’m sad so say that it was extremely disappointing. Even though it was “a la carte” you weren’t even asked what the option was, because there wasn’t any. The Breakfast was literally put in front of you without knowing if you could eat everything being served. As a vegetarian i was kind of upset to see meat on my plate. They would have known if they had asked me or had a menu of some kind. Even after adjusting my breakfast, it was still very lackluster and the worth thing of all, You had to pay EXTRA for drinks. orange juice would cost 30 Lira. I was forced to chunk down my breakfast with coffee only. You will be better out eating breakfast somewhere else.
