We so loved the place! Canton woods is one vacation hub i will not get tired of spending our family’s vacation because our stay, our time and money is all worth it! The food in their buffet is very delicious, their play areas and amenities are well loves by my kids!

Rooms are small but very clean. Bed and pillows are comfy. Wifi strong inside room and lobby. Staff are friendly. Sweet Haven restaurant and Bella Pizza inside the compound is highly recommended. Didn’t get to try the pool, is was kinda small considering its for both the hotel and the residences. There were a lot of people swimming then. Overall, I’d recommend the hotel. Thank you. We had a very pleasant stay.

The room was impeccably clean, exuding a sense of comfort and relaxation. The breathtaking view of the Taal Volcano from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay. We found ourselves captivated by the beauty of nature right outside our doorstep. The accommodations provided exceeded our expectations in every way. The amenities were modern and well-maintained, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries we had. During our time at Taal Vista, we had the opportunity to indulge in the culinary delights offered at the hotel's restaurants. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the vibrant flavors of Filipino cuisine. The dining experience was further enhanced by the stunning views of the surrounding landscape, creating a truly unforgettable dining experience. Overall, our stay at Taal Vista was nothing short of exceptional. From the clean and comfortable accommodations to the breathtaking views and impeccable service, every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. The place is still the same and perfect for families.. The staff gave a little suprise for my son. A welcome birthday greetings with balloons. The breakfast was good and loved by my mother in law (better than a well known hotel in manila) simple but tasty. . Still the same as before with the bonfire marshmallow activity. The only downside for the recent stay was with the farm side area near the ducks and iguana. The place was not quite clean for this visit ( not totally clean since knowing the ducks and chicken were raoaming freely.. or maybe atleast spray the pathway as my son was not able to take the smell) as compare to our last visit my son was able to feed the ducks and chicken around that area.. Two consecutive days of visit to that area is still the same smell.. Other than that all the staffs were nice and room facilities was clean and nice!

If you want to go somewhere quite and just chill this is the place to be. It has a stunning view of Tagaytay. The only down side is their pool has no heater so it would be freezing as expected lol. Their in house Spa inside the hotel is a super plus, super relaxing and not iver priced. I also love the food at their restaurant, I ordered a lot lol. Complimentary breakfast is standard. Parking lot is spacious when we came in. Area is accessible to nearby Tagaytay spots. I will definitely comeback if I am in the area.

We spent a night here due to a nearby wedding. This was one of the few hotels with 2-bedroom options for our big family (6 in total). The good: great staff, especially front desk breakfast was really good, no bacon but it's not a luxury hotel. location is unbeatable with a supermarket and good selection of restaurants downstairs and across the street less than 5 minutes from sky ranch, good place to take the kids Room is large, plenty of space, beds were firm and quite good. Great view from the balconies looking out to the lake/volcano free parking in front and under the hotel Hotel has fantastic entry and exit points from the main road the meh: - The AC in the master's bedroom was blowing probably 25C air. Staff went up to check and the first one insisted that it was cold. The rest of the unit was doing 19-20C. That room you can immediately tell was NOT. We had to call the front desk again for it to be checked and after 2 more trips they finally figured the AC condenser was broken and it needed a freon recharge. By evening the room was getting cold. For a big repair they did it quite quick so kudos to them still. - The room had a stove and a kitchen but ZERO kitchen utensils. No spoons, forks, plates or even glasses. Not to mention no cooking equipment. What was the stove for? There was a microwave though, and the ref was working well. - There was a TV and a cable box, but no cable service until 9am the morning of our departure. I know this isn't the hotel's fault, but it's worth noting that providers in the area might not be reliable. Service was out for an entire day! Also, only the master's bedroom had a cable box, the living room did not. It was just a TV with no connections whatsoever. - The water pressure of the bathroom bidet is terrible, with no way to adjust - Hotel has free internet but limited to first three devices. So our family of six was half with and half without. The stay wasn't terrible by any means. We'll most likely return here in the future, given the room's size, but we'll probably be better prepared the next time.

We stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding a few minutes away. Hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. The welcome is warm, though the individual standing guard at the gate could be a little more friendly. The hotel property is spacious and has a great view of the Taal lake, with the obligatory IG fixture on their lawn. It's obvious that the staff has experience in taking photographs of people and the scenery. Parking is ample, but not shaded. So the sun does beat down on vehicles. Best to keep the windows slightly open to let out the hot cabin air out. The hotel room is well equipped. Clean and functional. Room is well appointed. The pushbutton curtain is a welcome detail. Half finished renovations have marred the view from the balcony, but if doesn't totally ruin the overall experience. Noise suppression is a problem, as you can hear echoes from the lobby quite easily. The card receptacle was either disconnected or not working, as it did not shut off the electronics when the card is removed. TV viewing is juggling with two separate remotes instead of a universal one. No compendium in the room. Bathroom is clean and equipped with amenities. The Bathtub drain mechanism though needs to be attended to. Hot water is not as much as desired, but it does serve its purpose. WIFI in the room and around the hotel are not the greatest, for casual surfing and social media postings it's ok. Breakfast was ok, with the usual fair you find at other hotel properties. Pancakes could be better. The offerings didn't feature much local specialties. It would be good if the coffee is what Batangas was famous for. Sugar substitutes also would be nice. Waitstaff seems to not have a common theme in terms of uniform. At least they were prompt and present went needed, not dragging their feet when working. Unused furniture cluttered the corners of the dining space, making the audio equipment near the open gangway painfully out of place. The pool is beautiful. Not temperature controlled, but placed well enough to be under the sun most of the time. Not much space to go sunbathing. Clean towels are provided. Even though it's not a deep pool to begin with, there is a 'lifeguard' on duty. he could be a little more cheerful and approachable. Bathers though are in full view of the dining guests. So expect to be observed by the people inside in case you have a shapely figure. Safety signs are not that obvious. The Rules and Regulations poster could do with an update. It would be nice if the room had a compilation of literature that would recommend places to go to, places to eat nearby. A local map even. The hotel needs to clean up in terms of polish.

The place is good and accessible to all. Will highly recommend it and the caretaker is also kind and easy to communicate.

They gave us a nice and clean room as well. One of the best staycation we had, kudos to their delicious breakfast 🍽️☕. All in one resort and hotel plus restaurant and coffee shop. A walking distance to Picnic Grove, convenience store and church. They are so welcoming and polite.

The hotel is just adjacent to the school venue and a few minutes drive to the mall and restaurants. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We love the room, very spacious. They are also quite strict in checking the covid health protocol thus quite reassuring for the guests’ health safety. Although they can still improve in some areas.
