Stayed at this hotel for the second time, the hotel is very good, the price is not bad in the local area, the breakfast is great, mostly sweets, there are many small restaurants around, PIZZA is relatively cheap, the average consumption per person is 30~ 40 yuan, there is a FISH FISH seafood restaurant in the back box is also good, the per capita is only about 100 yuan.

We stayed here in a superior king room for 3 nights. We had a good view of the gardens and the room was fairly modern. It was somewhat small. We had enough space to store our luggage but it was pretty tight. The bathroom worked well but was pretty dated. The toilet area was very tight due to the placement of the toilet dispenser next to your leg. An excellent breakfast was included in our rate. Lots of variety and very good service. They have a bar and two restaurants, one of which served breakfast plus other meals. The bar has a good variety of drinks and you can order food. Quality was good although prices are high compared to local prices. Front desk personnel and concierge were extremely helpful. Housekeeping did a great job. Smoking is permitted in many areas of the hotel, including the bar. As a result, the hotel smells like smoke in a lot of places. This place isn’t perfect but we liked it a lot. I would give it a 4.5 if I could but rounded up because of their very good service and excellent breakfast.

Well situated beautiful hotel, direct in Casbah. Close to the metro, a lot of little cafes around. All day drinks and snacks provided. Friendly and helpful staff, lots of information given, possibility to exchange money ,the good rate.(euro) The small room, a miniscule bathroom, very hard pillows was a minus. The hotel has a long history and is said to be where the previous king lived. It has been renovated, the design and decoration of each floor are very beautiful, the environment is very good, the bed is big and new, and the view from the balcony is very good and stylish. The service attitude is very good, and there is also a meal delivery service. Breakfast is not bad. Although the toilet occasionally smells a bit, after all, it is a hotel with a history, but I still like it here very much. The only thing that is not perfect is the Chinese restaurant on the first floor. The Chinese food is delicious, and the Beijing soup is delicious. However, the steak and pasta we ordered did not have sauce. We asked the waiter to give us some sauce and took two This time it was very thin soup, I don't know what it is made of, anyway, it is completely different from what we ate before. The waiter may be unhappy, and told us to go to the kitchen to make it ourselves if we are not satisfied. This has reduced the restaurant a lot of points.

On a positive note, the view from the sea-facing rooms is absolutely gorgeous and the private balconies are a great place to relax. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable, however signs of age and lack of maintenance are starting to show. Whilst some staff are friendly and courteous, the majority behave more like civil servants than people in the hospitality industry. “The customer comes first” is definitely missing in their training manuals. Instead, one is made to feel that compliance to their rules is more important. I asked room service for an iron and was told no irons were provided because I “had to use the hotel laundry service”. My colleagues and I were told off by the security guard at the door for bringing bottled water into the hotel because “we had to purchase it in-house”. I waited over 20 minutes after a very long journey for someone to show up at the front desk and check me into my room. My check-in was interrupted twice by other guests requesting their room keys to be reprogrammed and instead of asking them to wait or refer them to a colleague, I was left hanging. The hotel is regularly used for ministerial meetings and visits, and the customer service declines even further as staff rush to cater to government officials and their entourages instead of their guests.

Ssandycool69Must begin thanking the front office staff for being helpful and concerned, to accommodate us at absolute short notice. Being ejected out of Mercure, despite having a confirmed reservation, we were desperate for a hotel to sleep over. Jardy popped up on bookings.com. The hotel staff had not received the bookings online confirmation, but the front office went out of the way to provide us rooms for the night. On entering the room, you realise it gets over before it starts. Very minimalisitc features and amenities. Not sure, who decides on the star ratings (Jardy has a 4-star rating!!!). a poor wifi connection. Very ordinary and inadequate lighting in the room. All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel does not have a bar. The one restaurant in the hotel serves some food and also is the breakfast place. The comforter is kept folded in the cupboard. Dont be surprised not finding one on the bed. The rooms have split AC units and the unit in my room was not functional. Luckily the weather was nippy and i did not have a need for the AC.The hotel itself is located in a busy suburb, sorrounded by car mechanic shops. they do have a shuttle to and from the airport. It is also located not very far from the airport. The breakfast spread was ordinary, but decent. . i would not want to stay at the Jardy for comfort or ambience. Did see a lot of arab families staying there. i suppose the absence of liquor makes Jardy their prefered choice.

GGuest UserSince the reopening of the Algerian air borders, I have stayed at this hotel 6 to 7 times. For me, coming back to Algeria was a great day after a very long absence and the Sidi Yahia hotel was a great discovery and a great surprise when it came to the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, the richness of the breakfast and above all the friendliness Staff. I'm leaving in March for a one-week stay. Work and see my friends again.

It was stated that pets are allowed although this is not the case. Despite everything, the people in charge allowed me to keep my animal otherwise I would be on the street after more than 5 hours of driving. Thank you to Trip.com for kindly correcting the information transmitted to the hotel so that other customers do not experience unpleasant situations as could have been the case for me if the staff had not had this humanist background and understanding. Thank you again, cordially. A client who recommends this hotel for all the charm that makes it up, both professionally and for its atypical and truly beautiful style right in the center 👌🏼🙂

GGuest UserThe staff at Space Telemly hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and it was our first time in Algeria (we are from Australia). Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Algiers allowing travellers to explore the city with ease. They serve delicious breakfast and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return to the Space Telemly Hotel.

GGuest UserGreat staff, especially one at the reception, often there in the evening, and at breakfast a great gentleman with really great glasses. Location 12 minutes from the Khelifa Boukalfa metro station, a bit of a hassle to find taxis, I don't know why. Room not great, the bathroom in poor condition, the beds were fine, the sound system was terrible. Breakfast not great at all but attentive staff, not practical for families with strollers. Otherwise it's very good. Average cleanliness, the beds are made but not really cleaned. Too bad there are ways to do better.

GGuest UserI loved Hotel Hydra. The purpose of my visit was to see my granddaughter and daughter in law.
The room was spacious and well appointed.
Only minor points could be improved- bath plug didn’t fit, light bulb out. I didn’t report this though. I felt safe and staff were gracious and kind.
If I visited Algiers again I would definitely stay there.
