I booked the Mercure hotel, but the hotel later coordinated me to the Naya hotel across the street, which was a lower level and the rooms were smaller.
However, after I went there, I found out that the Mercure Hotel was indeed requisitioned because of the local energy conference. I would like to give Ctrip’s service a thumbs up. I am satisfied!

This hotel is very good, and the sanitary facilities are perfect in all aspects. I booked it for my colleagues. What I am most grateful for is that the service provided by the front desk leader, Fateh Slomani, is really excellent. Because of the language barrier, my colleagues encountered many difficulties, and he enthusiastically helped to solve and arrange them. These are not his duties, but he spared no effort to help us a lot. He made us feel that Algiers is so beautiful. Algeria is a very, very friendly country. I am deeply grateful and hope that Ctrip can convey my gratitude to the hotel. Thank you, Fateh Slomani is such a great gentleman!

Wow! Lamaraz is a modern hotel, near the historic center, with spacious, comfortable and clean rooms, great service (especially the front desk and the restaurant), excellent dining, super fast laundry service (performed onsite) and excellent value. Stayed here during our week’s tour of Algeria. The location is perfect in downtown Algiers and easy to walk everywhere you need to. Lots of restaurants, shops and attractions on your doorstep. The rooms are fairly basic, but quite comfortable, spacious enough and spotlessly clean. The lobby has an attractive appearance and all the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast is a bit disappointing; pretty limited in the choice of cold meats and cheeses, but probably sufficient for many people. We did have an issue with the plumbing in our room, but the staff were quick to try and resolve it. There’s plenty of hot water from the shower. The bar does not serve alcohol, but we found a few places nearby that do. Overall, a good value hotel with helpful staff in an ideal location.

The hotel has a long history and is said to be where the previous king lived. It has been renovated, the design and decoration of each floor are very beautiful, the environment is very good, the bed is big and new, and the view from the balcony is very good and stylish. The service attitude is very good, and there is also a meal delivery service. Breakfast is not bad. Although the toilet occasionally smells a bit, after all, it is a hotel with a history, but I still like it here very much. The only thing that is not perfect is the Chinese restaurant on the first floor. The Chinese food is delicious, and the Beijing soup is delicious. However, the steak and pasta we ordered did not have sauce. We asked the waiter to give us some sauce and took two This time it was very thin soup, I don't know what it is made of, anyway, it is completely different from what we ate before. The waiter may be unhappy, and told us to go to the kitchen to make it ourselves if we are not satisfied. This has reduced the restaurant a lot of points.

I’ve been in this hotel for the last 15 day of August, I could/should say, it I very convenient location a big plus is the service and quality of it, eating will never disappoint you a the restaurant; the staff including the Chef will spoil you, if not, they will make sure something can be arranged to make you happy, they will help and treat you like a family, at the restaurant Sofiane and his colleagues are amazing. While taking care of yourself and your room, Narimane, Marouane and Siham (I am 100%, I misspelled their names) are very lovely and 150% committed to be your comfortability. Ahh… the front desk staff are as good as mother could be, they make sure you are comfortable, safe, and good serviced. What can I tell you, I am 100% and 1000 time happy customer.

By best the best hotel I’ve been to in algeria, And up there with the other hotels I’ve been to around the world. The service is great, team is great except a woman that works in reception that is extremely rude but the rest was amazing. Lovely food, lovely private spa. I have only good things to say, and not to forget the great housekeeping and security team.

Ssandycool69Must begin thanking the front office staff for being helpful and concerned, to accommodate us at absolute short notice. Being ejected out of Mercure, despite having a confirmed reservation, we were desperate for a hotel to sleep over. Jardy popped up on bookings.com. The hotel staff had not received the bookings online confirmation, but the front office went out of the way to provide us rooms for the night. On entering the room, you realise it gets over before it starts. Very minimalisitc features and amenities. Not sure, who decides on the star ratings (Jardy has a 4-star rating!!!). a poor wifi connection. Very ordinary and inadequate lighting in the room. All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel does not have a bar. The one restaurant in the hotel serves some food and also is the breakfast place. The comforter is kept folded in the cupboard. Dont be surprised not finding one on the bed. The rooms have split AC units and the unit in my room was not functional. Luckily the weather was nippy and i did not have a need for the AC.The hotel itself is located in a busy suburb, sorrounded by car mechanic shops. they do have a shuttle to and from the airport. It is also located not very far from the airport. The breakfast spread was ordinary, but decent. . i would not want to stay at the Jardy for comfort or ambience. Did see a lot of arab families staying there. i suppose the absence of liquor makes Jardy their prefered choice.

It was stated that pets are allowed although this is not the case. Despite everything, the people in charge allowed me to keep my animal otherwise I would be on the street after more than 5 hours of driving. Thank you to Trip.com for kindly correcting the information transmitted to the hotel so that other customers do not experience unpleasant situations as could have been the case for me if the staff had not had this humanist background and understanding. Thank you again, cordially. A client who recommends this hotel for all the charm that makes it up, both professionally and for its atypical and truly beautiful style right in the center 👌🏼🙂

GGuest UserSince the reopening of the Algerian air borders, I have stayed at this hotel 6 to 7 times. For me, coming back to Algeria was a great day after a very long absence and the Sidi Yahia hotel was a great discovery and a great surprise when it came to the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, the richness of the breakfast and above all the friendliness Staff. I'm leaving in March for a one-week stay. Work and see my friends again.

SSytseI have travelled a lot in the Middle East and North Africa - and people in these countries are the most friendly and hospitable you will find anywhere in the world. But even compared to those standards, the staff of City Hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. They will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and help with any issue at hand - even sharing their home-cooked food with me (best food I had in Algiers!).
So if you think about visiting Algiers, book this hotel! It has good facilities at a very convenient location, but most of all: the best staff you will find anywhere in the world. Highly recommended!!

GGuest UserThe room felt shabby, but the restaurant looked okay. The price is not cheap, similar to that of a three-star hotel, about 8,000 to 10,000. The location is opposite the Football Association. It's hard to book a room when there are meetings or something.

GGuest UserI loved Hotel Hydra. The purpose of my visit was to see my granddaughter and daughter in law.
The room was spacious and well appointed.
Only minor points could be improved- bath plug didn’t fit, light bulb out. I didn’t report this though. I felt safe and staff were gracious and kind.
If I visited Algiers again I would definitely stay there.
