This modern hotel is located within the Sadu sports and ski-jumping complex. The room was pleasant and mountain views splendid. Hotel has spa and outdoor pool, (only open during day time hence of no value to business traveller), but unfortunately no gym. The onsite restaurant serves good breakfast and a variety of local and international dishes.

When Musafir booked this property I was having real doubts bcoz I have read so many reviews. But the property really surprised me. The location of this hotel can be little inconvenient as it’s outside the city area. But this is very quiet and very good for people who wants to be away from the city hussle and bussle. Rooms are very comfortable and big. And amenities inside the room is really good. But washrooms doesn’t have door. This can be inconvenient for friends or family staying. In winter they don’t turn on the AC bcoz of it rooms get really hot and zero ventilation. Staffs are nice but they really needs to learn how to handle customers. This can be due to language. People will feel they are rude. Breakfast was really good. They have a lot of variety. Over all I had a real good time.

This hotel is with the wide range advantages. First of all location near the mountains, in the center of the city ,in front of of luxury mall Essentqi mall. Outstanding service with polite staff, a delightful breakfast experience, and impeccably clean rooms, all complemented by a showcase of national cooking traditions. I live in KZ, but never have seen at the hotel the option with the national kitchen, seriously amazing! The chiefs cooking is really like homemade! Recommend it at all!

I would normally do a review starting good points then leading into bad points and leave it like that. This place the 'Bad Points' are potentially life threatening. There is a live 'always on' electrical socket in the shower cubicle. The 'Fire / Emergency' exists are propped open on each floor (which would lead to spreading of smoke incase of a fire) and the stairs are obstructed with beds, mattresses, building materials. The actual fire doors were obstructed by bags of cement (photos provided). That out of the way I'll talk about 'inconveniences' the hot water is inconsistent so you cannot guarantee a hot shower when you want. If your room has a pool view - the music starts between 7 - 730am daily. If you order 'Room service' then the food is delivered uncovered, it moves from kitchen through reception, into public lift, corridor. This includes drinks. There in one door in the shower/toilet area so you can either use the toilet in private or swing the door back to form a cubicle. Before I arrived I checked the reviews and the biggest issues seemed to be breakfast. First day I understood the issue. The food was not fresh (even though I was early), sliced cheeses were old, tray bakes weren't fresh. Potato products (hash browns etc) all tasted like they were prepared the day before and reheated. The prepared eggs, sausages etc were all just warm and again looked and tasted like leftovers. I was in a party of 40, within 3 days 12 of us has food poisoning. I'm not just saying we felt poorly, an emergency doctor was called to the hotel as people were collapsing. I know people say, should have mentioned it there and then as opposed to making a review. I did. I spoke to tour organiser, reception, restaurant manager who brought out the two chefs. They first thought that we had maybe picked up the bug from outside but that wasn't possible. The group had only ate together at the breakfast. This bug spoiled the rest of my holiday and some people are still unwell (5 days later). That aside the hotel is nice, really spacious rooms but could do with some surface cleaning on the walls etc, but it's a bit isolated. You can walk about 15 minutes to 'essential mall' which has supermarket, currency exchange and some expensive restaurants. This was my first hotel in Almaty so I cannot compare to others in the country. I have however travelled to over 35 countries and this hotel is bad.

I recently visited this hotel for my stay in Almaty and, it was horrible.we were 20 group of ladies and they treated us so badly,in bathroom hot water was not coming properly, short circuits were happening, AC were not working,no option in breakfast for vegetarian people. They even charged us for having lipstick marks on towel which can be easily cleaned off, they said it is not washable even made us wash the towel and show them it is washable then also they charged us 50,000 tenga and even called police on such a silly issue. So I would not recommend this hotel to anyone one should avoid this hotel at all cost.

Unfriendly staff and weird hotel. Staff was totally unhelpful and the rooms too were not good. Avoid this hotel if you want to have a good vacation. Food too was not good. Bathrooms were also bad. Overall staying in this hotel will be a nightmare and you would end up spoiling your vacation. They normally wants to charge customers with any small issue. No co-ordination with the staffs themselves. if you talk with 1 person and he confirms the service the other says that it wont be done. So guys please avoid this hotel to have a good vacation. There are many good hotels in Almaty and if you want to have a good vacation "Avoid this Hotel"

Had a great stay at the hotel. Extremly friendly and helpful staff. The room was neat and cozy. I would recommend the hotel to those who prefer staying far from city noise (yet Sadu is not far from Esentai mall ~ 5 min, airport ~ 15 min). Definitely coming back during summer time 👍

Disgusting! Poor interior. Heat in rooms with non-functioning air conditioning. Wooden pillows. The water pressure in the evening is a thin trickle. There is no sound insulation. No breakfast. Dirty carpet in the corridors. At breakfast, 90% of the restaurant was reserved, but there was no one there... the rest of the visitors crowded around the remaining counters with dirty dishes from previous visitors. And this is for the price of 4*???!!!!!!! Lots of show-offs - ZERO quality

The hotel and rooms are clean and well-maintained. The food is delicious, especially the pizza! It might be something that only Japanese people have, but it would have been nice if there was a bathtub. → I guess that's not normal. I gave it a rating of 4, including the problem of the card key not being recognized.

The hotel is located in the new part of Almaty. Shopping center is 10 minutes walk away. Essentai Mall. Check-in is very fast. The staff is attentive and invisible when needed). We upgraded to a deluxe room (non-smoking) for free. The room is spacious, everything you need is there (slippers, bathrobe, soap, shaving, toothpaste, brush, shower caps and cotton pads with sticks). Excellent air conditioning system. Flat screen TV, kettle, tea, coffee, 2 bottles of water. Breakfast is beyond praise - both traditional European dishes and snacks, and national Kazakh ones (kazy, irimshik, Kurt, camel milk, mare's milk, etc.). There is a swimming pool on site, but I didn’t try to use it in winter. A small conference room for 80 people with screens and everything you need. Located in the center, but away from the noisy highway. Great option for accommodation
