Really liked this hotel, although the exterior of the hotel is not very beautiful, there is no luxurious lobby (not at all), but it is a great downtown boutique hotel. Walking distance to all attractions, green market, Panfilov Memorial Government/Republic Square and right in the middle of Almaty’s restaurants and bars. This hotel is newly renovated, quiet, clean, friendly and great value for money. Is it luxurious or amazing? None, but this is a very nice little hotel to explore and enjoy a wonderful, warm, civilized city. I recommend this hotel and will also be on my list of future stays here

Very interesting experience staying in the old Soviet building. The location is very much in the center of the city with access to public bus and metro around its vicinity. The room is very basic but comfortable. Breakfast spread is really good. They have loads of fruits option. For those who are also traveling solo and wanted to use public transport to and from the airport, it is possible to hop on bus number 92 with metro access.

Stayed there for a night during my KZ trip, the hotel is located at a very comfortable location , the hotel rooms looks like more of heritage room with a few old decor plates and felt really warm, they provided with all the necessity services, and a secured cloak room was also there, I kept my luggage after checkout for almost a day and they were really helpful to store them at their place without any hassle and provided back the same in couple of minutes, They staff here speaks fluent English as well and take extra efforts to help their guest. Would definitely recommend to stay and get to know the services of the same.

What a disappointing hotel. The service was awful throughout. Whatever the question the answer was always NO! Check in time was 2:00pm. I arrived at noon and asked for an early check in. NO! The room was ready but unless I paid $50 they would not allow early check in. (A different clerk did eventually check me in early) The restaurant closed at 7:00pm for dinner and there was no nearby option. I got take out and just asked for silverware and an empty glass. NO, you may not take to room. Eventually I procured a single fork (still no glass allowed in room. “People steal them”). 30 min later, a knock on the door asking for the fork back! Bar was horribly stocked. Red wine? NO. White Wine? NO. Just beer Breakfast opened at 7am. I arrived at 6:50 and just asked if I could have a coffee while i waited. NO. They ran out of juice, asked for more….wait for it…NO. Power was off several times, once for 2+ hours. Windows don’t open so it became very stuffy. Room was not cleaned one day. I asked just for fresh towels. I had to bring my used ones down to the front desk, where they counted them to be replaced. I guess their guests steal towels too! On checkout I asked politely if I could speak to the manager. “No manager here”. That kinda sums up the whole stay. Many, many better options here and this should never be part of IHG with the terrible service

This is the most disgusting hotel in all I have ever encountered. And it's not even small rooms - it's just a low price to explain. I arrived at work, lived 6 nights, during this time the room was never cleaned, did not change the clothes and towels! Even the trash was not removed. The breakfast was simply terrible - even the bake was able to spoil (all fat in oil, with a disgusting taste). The check was prepared two days (!) after the expulsion. Well, I didn't leave Almaty immediately, but just moved. In general, if you stay for a couple of nights without breakfast, then probably normal. But long stops aren't suitable.

The Kazakh lady at the reception desk was very helpful. It was my first time in Almaty, and there was basically no one who could speak English. The lady had no problem communicating in English, and explained everything to me clearly, just like meeting a relative. I arrived by plane in the morning, and most hotels can only check in at 2 pm. So I chose this hotel and checked in before the check-in time. WiFi, hot water, and showers are all available. Various tourist attractions are very close to the hotel. I promised the lady that I must give a very good review in **.

Rather simple and quite clean structure, located not far from the center of Almaty. My room was quite spacious and clean, equipped with a balcony, bathroom with shower, courtesy set, in particular I found the bed very comfortable. Overall it is a good structure, in my opinion not yet accustomed to welcoming tourists from all over the world. Breakfast and language barriers (only one receptionist out of four I've had to deal with spoke English) to be improved. For the rest, I would recommend it.

The hotel environment is very good, clean and sanitary, and the boss is very warm. 🥰It is very convenient to travel and the service is very considerate.

Hotel is really good, centrally located and opposite to dostyk mall. We have been there in the month of October on the 9th floor. Rooms was very good neat and clean with city & mountain 🏔️ view'. Not to say that I was delighted with this hotel, but also I can't say that it was very bad. There were mixed feelings from staying here, from here and such an assessment. Location from the point of view of the proximity to the airport – excellent. And in terms of life, it is not very convenient. And here I mean not the location relative to the city center even. Beneath the windows is a washing machine and a refuelling machine where the woman communicates with customers at night and in the morning by the speaker, it severely hinders sleep and affects general well-being. The curtains have also had to curtain, otherwise the light bulb will hinder sleep. In general, my nights were uneasy: light in the window, the inability to open the window to let out the fresh air (though it is possible to do better). It was necessary to explain to the taxi drivers where the main entrance to the hotel is located, which looks like a service and not for the first time you guess that it is the entrance. Your own free transfer – is a miracle, they want to say great thanks for two beautiful trips. The first, from the airport, thanks to the wonderful man that while I was dealing with the lost baggage, he didn 't leave and waited for me this hour, although we didn 't even get in touch because I forgot to warn the hotel that I was delayed at the exit from the airport. Great human thanks! The trip to the airport was not less comfortable, everything was on time and at the top level! Staff on the respiratory was always friendly, responsive, went to meet when needed. Thank you very much) Room service was also excellent. As for the interior decoration, the room had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, the truth at the table was extremely uncomfortable to work unless you are amateur to throw Leg on leg and etc.
