Frühstücksbuffet mit regionalen Produkten und in einer eigens nachhaltigen Darreichung und dadurch sehr hygienisch und ansprechend. Die wirtschaftlichen Folgen: es wird deutlich weniger an Lebensmittel weggeschmissen. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Hochpreisig, kreativ und sehr geschmackvoll. Die Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll dem Namen (Krone) und Konzept (Romantik) des Hotels entsprechend, allerdings nicht mit dem Charme längst vergangener Tage, sondern modern. Dies zeigt sich vor allem in den Bädern und Hygieneeinrichtungen des Hotels. Das ganze Hotel so sauber, wie wir es schon langen nicht mehr erlebt haben. Das Personal sehr freundlich und am Wohlbefinden des Gastes orientiert. Hier merkt man das Beruf auch Berufung sein kann. **** superior halt

Selten so freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen (Restaurant, Frühstück, Rezeption, Housekeeping etc.) erlebt. Pures Wellness Wohlfühlerlebnis mit ausgezeichnetem Essen zu nicht gerade günstigen Preisen, aber dafür ist es ein Genuss für den Gaumen UND die Seele.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten, das Abendessen war spitze, Frühstück ebenfalls top. Zusätzlich war bei uns das Frühstück gratis. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Parkplatz kostenfrei am Hotel.

Very nice staff! Breakfast was with €62,-- for two over the top. One bread roll and one slice of bread each, which were not fresh by the way, and only little selection of things to put on. A body lotion would have been nice in the delux room for that money! However otherwise we enjoyed the stay! Lovely area and people!

Hotel insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen . Wellness Bereich wunderschön! Zimmer haben phantasiereiche Bezeichnungen sind aber überteuert und dem Preisniveau nicht entsprechend… Deluxe Zimmer mit Terrasse hat dort noch nicht mal eine Sitzgelegenheit . Keine Kaffeemaschine, dafür darf man im Restaurant an der Maschine den Kaffee selber zubereiten und erfährt später, dass für zwei Tassen 7.80 berechnet werden. Im Restaurant wurde fälschlicherweise eine Flasche Wein gebucht was äusserst nonchalant ohne Einsicht korrigiert wurde. Keine Empfehlung!

In der letzten Woche hatten wir im Sauerland Freunde besucht, und so buchten wir eine Nacht hier in der Astenkrone, da wir das Haus schon von früheren Besuchen her kannten Check-in zügig und sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war uns schon von früheren Aufenthalten bekannt, es war gemütlich, sehr groß und mit allen Dingen eingerichtet. Da wir immer bei offenem Fenster schlafen, war lediglich die flatternde Fahne auf der Terasse, mit den damit verbundenen Geräuschen, nachts etwas störend. Zum Frühstück: Ich hatte unsere Suite m i t Frühstück gebucht, das sollte man aber tunlichst nicht tun. Warum? Am Morgen kam die Kellnerin und brachte uns ( meiner Frau und mir ) 2 Etageren mit allen Dingen für eine opulentes Frühstück. Von einer dieser Ungetüme ( positiv gemeint! ) hätte man alleine 3 Personen mehr als satt bekommen. Nachdem wir gestopft und gestopft hatten, blieben schließlich zwei Drittel von jeder Etagere übrig und gingen zurück. Das ist eigentlich nur schade. Diese Erfahrung schilderten wir dann beim Auschecken an der Rezeption und bekamen den weisen Ratschlag: "Beim nächsten Mal nur das Zimmer buchen o h n e das Frühstück und dann vor Ort mengenmäßig das bestellen, was adäquat ist. Na das sollte man dann auch auf der Online Platform des Hause so erwähnen. Wie gesagt, das ist hier kein Meckern, unser Aufenthalt im Haus war sonst okay, und wir würden bei jeder passenden Gelegenheit gerne wiederkommen. bdzons

Heel fijn hotel, vriendelijk personeel, top kamer en vooral van de wellness hebben wij genoten! Minpunt is het eten, dit is zeer duur voor wat je krijgt! Wij vonden dit on-Duits. Het heeft ons ook doen besluiten om de volgende morgen het ontbijt elders te nuttigen, hiervan was de prijs namelijk ook erg hoog. Voor de rest alleen lof voor dit knusse rustige hotel!

Ganz spontan und ohne Plan sind wir an diesem zauberhaften Herbstsonntag nach Altastenberg gereist und in der ASTENKRONE eingekehrt. Eine Überraschung folgt auf die andere: Super entgenkommender und mega freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption, Phantastischer indoor Pool, sehr schöne Sauna, Eim großartiges Restaurant- Erlebnis: Irre Speisekarte von GANS über VEGANes kanarisches Kichererbsencurry bis Wiener Schnitzel ist ALLES biizertifiert, frisch zubereitet und von HÖCHSTER QUALITÄT!!! Bin absolut begeistert und kann Hotel und Restaurant nur aufs Dringlichste empfehlen!!!!!
