Lovely modern hotel, really well-located; 40 minutes from Alicante airport, 10 minute walk into Altea, right next to the sea. There’s a hotel minibus up to the old town every hour, which is a really great idea. The staff were all helpful and attentive. Everything in the room worked well; hot water, comfortable bed, good a/c, safe, Chromecast for the tv. There are obviously high standards and quality checks place for housekeeping. The only negative is the food; if the buffet was up to the same standard as the lunchtime a la carte La Pecera then it would be great. The fresh rice dishes and salads in the buffet were always fine and the desserts are nice but quite a lot of the other food is really unappealing. No one needs brown broccoli and cabbage, and prawns cooked so long they are powdery 😔 The fact these were put out as options show no one is quality-checking or tasting the food before it is served. That’s a shame! If the same attention was paid to the quality of the food as is paid to the standards of the rooms then this would be a fabulous hotel. I will come back for the positives the hotel provides but I also now know what food to have and what to avoid!

Lovely hotel would recommend to all. 10minute walk from Altea old town. Lovely building and pool area. It was very quiet when we were there had the pool to ourselves. All facilities clean. Staff friendly and approachable. We had bed and breakfast lovely selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, breads, cold meat, cheese, eggs and bacon. It is down a lane therefore slightly precarious walking back at night. Wouldn’t recommend for a lone female. We booked a twin room and there were balcony doors with a tiny balcony not big enough to able to sit out there. We only booked last minute for a one night stay but that would put me off if we were there longer and that’s the only reason I have marked down to 4/5.

Nice terrace with a magical view. Nice shared pool but somewhat small. Well equipped but a lot of the equipment and furniture needs to be renewed/refreshed. For example, cushions for the outdoor furniture, coffee maker, stove, washing machine. Much that w
