Hotels in Amboseli are probably average, and each hotel has few rooms, so it is very difficult to book. The hotel is in a good location, close to Amboseli National Park. The lodge I booked feels better than a tent. The facilities are relatively old, and the sanitary environment is also average, but the service is still OK.

Virendelijk personeel bij de receptie,we werden verwelkomd met n drankje Wifi alleen bij de receptie en in restaurant maar beide van slechte kwaliteit. Eten in het restaurant is redelijk We probeerde in euros te betalen omdat er niet met creditcard betaald kon worden volgen de serveerster. Voor een bedrag van 1900 shilling werd in eerste instantie 19 euro! gerekend. Na protest werd dit 17.50 en nadat we 15 euro hebben gegeven was dat ook accoord. (Werkelijke wisselkoers is nog net geen 14 euro) Later bij de bar gewoon met creditcard betaald.... Douche in de 2 tenten die wij huurden kwam nauwelijks water uit en was koud. Tent zelf was redelijk maar vloer van de tent zakte je op sommige punten zowat door het laminaat heen. Wat ons betreft niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Vanaf de doorgaande weg het laatste stuk van ongeveer 1 km over een zeer hobbelige weg. Amboselipark ingang op 5 min rijden op doorgaande weg.

We stayed here as part of a safari tour. We found the facilities a little scarce. The tented accommodation was adequate, but we stayed in much nicer tents in other camps. The food was very limited in choice, but what there was was ok. The road leading up to the camp gates is in desperate need of repair and means a rather bumpy arrival. The one redeeming feature is the velvet monkeysvin the lodge grounds.

If your safari company has you staying here, please call them and switch to somewhere else. Pay extra if you have to. This was by far the worst lodging experience I have ever had. Read all the negative reviews and know that they are true. From the bed (worst I have ever had around the world and I've been to all 50 US states and 38 countries) to the lack of effort by their staff to do anything about any concerns we had, to the rundown rooms and the food quality/selection, and everything else bad (I could go on and on), it was not a pleasant place to stay. It is "close" to the park (a few kilometers), and it's only 1 kilometer from the main road. However, it takes literally 8 or more minutes to get to their entrance over that 1 kilometer. I could have lived with that had everything else been at least acceptable. The only bright spot was Miriam, one of the workers in the restaurant there. She was very pleasant, sweet and helpful. Again, absolutely DO NOT stay here.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo struttura per una notte, a seguito di un safari alla riserva Amboseli. Il nostro cottage era molto basic ma dotato di ogni confort. Il ristorante a buffet prevedeva diverse portate tutte buone. Alla sera è stato eseguito anche uno spettacolo Masai attorno al fuoco.

A home away from home,a nice place to be,staffs are so friendly and so welcoming,rooms are clean and meals super,cool environment with a nice view of the mountain with refreshing moments. If you are choosing for a place to be it have to be AA Amboseli lodge.

Loggia położona blisko parku Amboseli, już po trasie do niej można spotkać żyrafy, strusie, antylopy. Na terenie dużo pawianów, widzieliśmy też mangusty w całym stadzie. Obsługa miła i uśmiechnięta. Pokoje różnej wielkości i standardu. My trafiliśmy naprawdę spory. Brak klimatyzacji, tv i lodówki. Prąd cały czas jest dostępny. Wifi darmowe działa w recepcji i na restauracji. Do bramy parku dojazd około 20 minut. Jedzenie dobre, szczególnie w porze lunchu

Chambres à rénover absolument ! Pas bien entretenues et filet d'eau dans la douche. OK pour une seule nuit. Piscine qui paraît abandonnée, nous avons préféré ne pas nous y baigner. Restaurant : la nourriture sous forme de buffet nous a plu. Hôtel avec un très bon potentiel mais à rénover et mieux entretenir.

Nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits dans le cadre de notre safari, un cauchemar Plus que rudimentaire, des draps sales, une chambre sale avec des moustiquaires troués de partout Des fils électriques suspendus plus que douteux, une salle de bain vétuste avec pas d eau chaude, pas de bouteille d eau donc pour se laver les dents c etait compliqué Les boissons hors de prix par rapport aux autres lodges, voir multipliées par trois La piscine, même mon chien ne s y baigner pas rien à voir avec les photos Bref fuyez
