Closest hotel to the park, literally 5 min walk to the gate! Super clean but room did have cockroaches in the bathroom and a spider close to the bed. Room did have an older musty smell but it was clean. Staff was not friendly. Didn’t feel welcomed upon arrival. Clerks were having a private conversation and didn’t acknowledge our presence at the counter. No greeting. I had to interrupt them to be helped. As we processed our payment, my dad was overcharged. There was no attempt to disclose the error until my son noticed the problem. No apology or acknowledgment of the issue. The clerk seemed nervous when caught- like she had done something wrong. I understand mistakes happen but not owning up is not OK. They’re also supposed to notify you when the room is ready, that’s not true. Overall, can’t beat the location, closest hotel to the gate. Breakfast is average, not great but decent. The menu changes daily. Eggs, chorizo with eggs, potatoes, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, limited pastries, yogurt, cereal, and coffee/juice/milk Noise isn’t bad considering how close it is to the street. Cleaning staff start early and held a conversation outside our window at 6AM. Not a deal breaker but they need to consider people are still sleeping at that time. Would I stay here again? Perhaps! My dad is disabled so proximity is a huge factor for us. Customer service needs to improve- that’s definitely a deal breaker.
