Petit hôtel très confortable à prix raisonnable au cœur d’Andenes. Mention spéciale pour l’accueil, d’une particulière gentillesse ! A deux pas du port et des sorties d’observation des baleines, tout près du ferry pour Senja. Un excellent petit restaurant tout proche.

In een plaatsje zoals Andenes mag je uiteraard geen super de luxe hotel verwachten of je moet boeken bij het Suite hotel maar dan ben je wel veel duurder uit. Marena Hotell in Andenes is een vrij bescheiden hotel tegenover de andere hotels. Maar best wel een goede verblijfplaats. Kamer net groot genoeg met een paar goede zeteltjes. Een bureau met stoel. De kamers zijn sober ingericht maar wel met houtvloer. Badkamer niet zo heel groot maar wel heel gerieflijk. Het onthaal was heel sober, de jongedame was vriendelijk en deed haar uitleg maar dat was het. Goede parkeerplaats aan de overkant, en een lift aanwezig, er zijn kamers op het gelijkvloers en op 2 verdiepingen. Goed gelegen in het centrum en kortbij een paar plaatsen om te eten want zij bieden geen avondeten aan wel ontbijt. Het ontbijt is sober maar goed. Het hotel is een prima uitvalsbasis voor de activiteiten in het het dorp zelf zoals bijvoorbeeld de Walvis safari, papegaaiduikers enz.

Albergo centrale nel piccolo paese di Andenes. Ristrutturato da poco, camere carine bagni grandi. Tutto molto pulito e curato. Colazione buona. Personale molto carino e gentile. Unico neo come quasi ovunque in Norvegia non hanno alternative al latte. Un povero vegano fa la fame. Per il resto lo consiglio vivamente.

Best accomodation in town. Quiet room, spacous bathroom. But above all, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The cafe we wanted to go to had already been closed at 3 pm. They served coffee and croissants for the two of us. Their hints at what to were useful.

Das Marena Hotel ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Insel Andoya, der Teilnahme an einer Walsafari und einer Bootsfahrt zum Papageientaucherfelsen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, wenn es auch ein wenig an Ablagemöglichkeiten fehlt. Das Frühstück entspricht den Erwartungen und wird zügig nachgelegt. We didn't particularly like the area (first trip to Norway with a travel agency and hotels predefined by them). The night we spent with them was not exceptional. Small room and a bad smell reigning there. A decent breakfast, nothing more.

Some rooms on the small side, ours was spacious enough. Bathroom is sufficiently spacious with a good shower cabin. In this remote corner of Norway this was a better hotel than, for example, the Thon hotel in Bergen. Only breakfast, which is simple but more than sufficient given the location.

We had this hotel booked by a travel agency as part of a road trip. The other hotels so far were in all respects good or very good. All the more reason for us to be unpleasantly surprised by Marena. Our room seemed a collection of leftovers from a furniture second hand store out of the 1960’s. Not only were almost all items of poor quality, they also looked worn out and badly fitting. The beds were okay but the room climate control could not be lowered under 25 degrees Celsius and that is no ideal temperature to sleep. Breakfast shows little variety in the food. Personnel made an uninterested impression. We had a booking for two nights but will be moving on after one night in search of a finer more suitable place

Petite chambre calme, propre ; deux lits, TV, cafetière, table, chaise, fauteuil mais pas d'armoire. Masque pour les yeux conseillé, car les rideaux ne bloquent pas complètement la lumière du soleil. Wi-Fi gratuite, avec code, excellent débit. Salle de bain avec douche, très bon débit d'eau chaude, sèche-cheveux. Petit-déjeuner style buffet, choix assez varié.
