We have stayed at other hotels when visiting our student and this is one of the best. Great location, great rooms. We were only there for a night but it did not disappoint. We walked to amazing restaurants and shopping. The curtains are actually blackout and the bed is so comfortable you will want to know what mattress it is. When you walk up the view over Ann Arbor is great.

Hotel is good, (*๓ ́╰╯`๓) The only thing that can be included if breakfast is perfect! The surrounding traffic is quite convenient and the parking lot is big enough. The hotel to the restaurant can walk from the indoor passage, it is also very convenient!

This hotel is in a excellent location. The location is so great and convenient that I added an extra star to its overall score. The parking structure was only a half a block away so that was very helpful. Unfortunately, the check-in process needs improvement. Our check-in code did not work on our room door but worked for the front door and elevator. We emailed and called customer service and they were able to fix the issue within 20-25 minutes. But this can’t happened, especially for customers who are traveling from far away. We had to stand in the hallway with our bags after a long drive. They should have at least one representative on-site during the check-in hours. The unit itself was very nice. It was roomy and cleaned. There was a lot of natural light coming through the room, as well. The balcony is a nice touch and we used it often throughout our stay. There were a few annoying issues though. The bed was full-size. That’s just too small for an adult couple. The futon was uncomfortable and should be replaced with a loveseat. Finally, the rug in the living room was shedding. These issues aren’t as big a problem if you spend the majority of your stay downtown/on campus, like we did. So altogether, an average stay but Exhibit A2 has potential to be a 5 star establishment.
Doubletree by Hilton Ann Arbor North

I made a temporary reservation and arrived at 11:30 in the middle of the night. There is only a twin room on the first floor. When I walked into the room, the smell was very heavy and it felt very damp and airless. This hotel is very large and newly renovated, the free breakfast is very rich, and the service is very good, someone will greet you with coffee or tea. There are coffee machines, refrigerators, and microwaves in the room. The hotel has a large swimming pool and gym. The surrounding area is safe and spacious, and the car can be parked freely. A few steps out of the hotel, there will be gas stations, supermarkets, and it is very convenient to buy some food and process it. The particularly good thing is that there is a car rental company in the hotel, and the car is parked right next to the hotel, which is a great service!
