Novotel Annecy Centre Reviews

Comfortable stay as expected from Novotel standard. Good location if you travel by train and to visit the historic centre.

Good !

We had a pleasant stay! The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, despite some noise from the train but not very annoying. The hotel is located 4 minutes from the station, very convenient! A lot of restaurants in the surroundings.

The hotel is not bad on the other hand the only small negative point the breakfast a little expensive for what is there but otherwise everything perfect the staff the rooms

located directly above the railway, but you can’t hear it, convenient private parking, great large lobby, competitor addagio opposite.

Arrived late, the sofa bed was a makeshift one. The hotel room is not big, the facilities are a bit simple, there is almost nothing, not even a bottle of water. Other things are basically satisfactory, the breakfast tastes good.

Clean and good location

The location is excellent. The hotel is not far to the left from the train station. There is a large shopping mall next to the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, and the old town and other attractions can be reached on foot. There are many varieties of breakfast and the service staff are very enthusiastic.

It was ok, but the trains pass right by the hotel building so there was a vibration from the trains early in the morning.

It is really hard to find a parking lot in the center of Annecy. I had to fold the rearview mirror to enter this underground parking lot. It is a test for students with poor driving skills.

There is no water or slippers in the room.

Very good hotel, very well located

This one is ok

Hotel is ok. But nothing special. Staff wasn’t that friendly. We ask for bathrobe and slippers, the answer was short: “only in the higher class rooms we give it!” In any hotel where we have been before I never heard this, that’s not nice for a Novotel, if you pay between 200-300 euros a night! If you take an umbrella ☂️ from the hotel, they told us very clearly, if we not bring it back, they will charge us 30 euros for it! Once I got back to the hotel the receptionist left his guest and jumped immediately to take the umbrella! In general, it was all a bit not feeling welcome in this hotel (just leave your money here, but don’t have any wishes!) Anyhow this was our unfortunate experience at the Novotel Annecy. The city is really nice and you should see it.
