There is a very good hotel called Hevanna Phone Right Spiel and he who provides good service there and also a good hotel that provides vehicles to go here and there at any time. If you have a need, you can book in that hotel....................

We stayed in the quietly located hotel for one night and immediately felt at home. The operators are super friendly and the rooms are very spacious and very clean. The view of the rice fields is to die for! From the small roof terrace you also have a great all-round view, all the way to the pagodas of Anuradhapura. We had dinner in the hotel (curry), but to be honest we ate better elsewhere on our tour. Nonetheless, the food was solid and overall an accommodation that we 100% recommend. For the cheapest price we wouldn't have believed we would get such beautiful, idyllic and clean accommodation. The reviews we read in advance didn't promise too much.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. So the distance between hotel and any place full of people is quite big, which can be a problem. Although the service was good, the owners and coworkers in there were helpful. Breakfast and dinner was good, in „Sri Lankan” style. About the room everything was great, the view is amazing, there is provided tea and water. About the localization, the center is full of culture buildings and temples, so 4 days are more than enough to see this.

Hotel molto pulito, bel panorama dalla camera ci si affaccia sui campi di riso, bella location in mezzo al verde (x questo, se si ha bisogno di qualcosa ci si deve muovere in tuk tuk o auto). La struttura dell’hotel è molto basic sembra di essere a casa di un amico, ma non manca nulla. Colazione servita (come nella maggior parte degli hotel di questo livello in Sri Lanka) composta da un piatto di frutta, un omelette, pane con marmellata e the o caffè. Unica cosa da migliorare... l’acqua Calda, che adesso è generata da uno scaldabagno elettrico, che nella nostra camera non era integrato con la doccia, ma aveva un rubinetto a se stante posizionato troppo in alto.

We had a fantastic stay :) Yash was a very helpful and friendly host who made sure we had a great stay. She booked a very nice and honest tuk tuk driver and we had different excursions. Pradeep is a very good chef and the food was delicious. The room had amazing views to the rice fields. The AC worked perfectly. Thank you so much 😊

Everything about this stay was great. Everybody was so kind and helpful, the woman who greeted us, Yash, was so incredibly nice. We had most of our meals here and the food was delicious. They supplied us with unlimited water, they arranged a safari in Wilpattu national park for us and a guided tour of the city at very reasonable prices. When we asked if we could tour the city without going into the UNESCO protected areas, she called another guide for us and explained everything to the guide. The view from the rooftop on the rice fields is amazing, and the rooms were nice and clean. You MUST stay here if you are visiting Anuradhapura!! Also, they were really nice to the stray animals, and even let a pregnant kitty come inside sometimes, which is a testament to how kind they were!!

We only spend one night, but we had the most amazing stay. The place itself was beautiful located between rice fields, rooms spacious and clean and had a very authentic feel to it. The woman running the place, Yash, was incredibly helpful and lovely. She booked us a tuktuk guide, Jana, who took us around the town and to all the historical sites - he had a good knowledge of the town and was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend Heaven Upon Rice Field.

Definitely recommend this guest house! The staff was absolutely lovely. We even got an upgrade for the room. The view from our room was amazing. They where flexible in regards to the timing of our dinner (and the food was also really nice which was a great bonus). So all together we really enjoyed our stay!
