My stay was disappointing. After a walk on the beach we returned for a shower before dinner. There was no hot water in the shower. I tried the front desk 3 times. No answer. We ended up taking cold showers. Yuk.
The next morning I went to the front desk to report that the shower did not have hot water. I was advised the shower did have hot water but I was using the handle wrongly. In order to get hot water the customer must turn the knob to the blue dot not the red dot. The manager was aware of the problem and simply said ‘very sorry about that’.
How ridiculous. Across the US hot water comes from the red dot. The blue dot is always the cold side. Why was I not advised of this strange situation when I checked in? Better yet, why didn’t/doesn’t the hotel correct the situation?
