Almira Hotel

Niewielki, bardzo przyjemny hotel. Dość duży pokój z wygodnym łóżkiem, sejfem (w cenie), czajnikiem. Ładny duży balkon ze suszarką do mokrych kostiumów, ręczniki plażowe. Trochę niewygodny, mały prysznic bez jednej ścianki - co powodowało zalewanie łazienki-ale szybko schło. Dość dobre śniadanie, dużo greckich potraw, niektórym może przeszkadzać wybór wędlin (2 dość niskiej jakości) i jeden żółty ser. Pomocny personel, szczególnie panowie w recepcji. Czysto.Można było rano rezerwować leżaki, których było bardzo dużo. Bardzo ładna zatoka, piaszczyste wejście do wody.W czerwcu w tygodniu było mało ludzi, gorzej w wolne dni. Jedyne co było fatalne to palenie papierosów przy śniadaniu i na plaży.

We only found the Almira by chance on our trip. A somewhat hidden little hotel in a fantastic location on a small bay, and behind the hotel there is a small town with restaurants and a supermarket. Not an overcrowded tourist resort with souvenir shops. About the hotel...we had a family room with two double beds in two rooms. In the back children's room there were wardrobes with four drawers and soft mattresses. In the front room the mattress was harder and there was more storage space. A sideboard with 4 large drawers. There were two TVs (no idea which channel) and the bathroom was also large and clean. From the balcony you had a beautiful view of the pool and the sea. The breakfast was OK, although I missed fruit (melon, oranges, figs etc.) for the yoghurt. There was muesli and cornflakes and all kinds of Greek vegetables, pastries spicy and sweet. The coffee was good, but the two juices in red and orange were pure chemicals and ultra sweet. I found the wifi to be negative. It just wasn't strong in our room and kept cutting out even though we weren't far from reception. This meant that we used up a lot of our data volume without noticing. The pool was clean and attractive and the path to the sea was just a stone's throw away. The hotel had beach loungers, but it was harder to find one at the weekend as there were a lot of locals there. You can also lie down there if you're not a hotel guest and order a drink at the bar. We would choose the hotel again if we wanted to relax for a few days. The bay is small, but you can take a long walk along the beach across the dunes. The hotel is pretty cheap with a flight through TUI. We paid €140 for the family room.

The structure is recent and is equipped with all comforts. The rooms are well laid out. Adequate bathrooms. The rooms with sea view offer terraces large enough for a table and chairs. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Both the staff at reception, at the bar and on the beach always welcome you with a smile. Always attentive and diligent, they are very professional. The medium-sized pool is clean and has a small hydromassage area. All around there are umbrellas, sunbeds and very hospitable lounges. Right in front of the beach which is accessed from the swimming pool. The breakfast is excellent. The kitchen is organized to also offer lunch and dinner. The overall scenery overlooking the beach, sea and Zakynthos island in front is wonderful. The beach is surrounded by various venues that are also open in the evening to spend an after-dinner meal admiring the dream landscape.

For some time now I have been avoiding large all-inclusive hotels. I am looking for small or very small objects. Almira met my requirements perfectly. The service in the hotel is very good, the Internet works like in few other hotels with "hundreds" of stars. The rooms are clean and have a great view of the beach and sea. In my room (number 406 - fourth floor) there was a large terrace where you can spend the evenings. The door to the balcony was protected by a mosquito net, so the use of air conditioning turned out to be unnecessary. The entire room was clean and well-kept. The equipment also included a refrigerator and a safe. The breakfasts are very good - you can't say a bad word about the selection of dishes and their freshness - unless someone doesn't like Greek cuisine - but then it's better to go elsewhere. The beach is clean and sunbeds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. For those who prefer to relax by the pool, there are sun loungers and umbrellas. For me it was a fantastic holiday. Will I go back there? There is a good chance of this.
