Great place to stay in DC!

Property’s location was comfortable for us amenities and services were good can concentrate on food. The same pattern of food was repeated everyday. As there are more international travellers can include at least 1 common international item in the breakfast

the service we received when we checked in was outstanding Abdi and Kevin went above and beyond what was expected. we want to thank them for all their help. they gave us all the details of the services at the hotel and how we could get around the area easier than driving.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation.

Excellent all around. Staff was professional, attentive and accommodating. My wife and I traveled with two young boys and we each loved our stay. The area shuttle the hotel provided was convenient to get to local restaurants and to and from the metro station. If youre planning on staying in the D C area this hotel is a great option.

I like the setup of the hotel room with multiple bed options available. Breakfast was also very good.

I do not give 5 stars lightly, as there is always room for improvement. But I was very impressed with this Homewood Suites and their employees, so I feel it is a 5 star worthy hotel. The hotel has a huge lobby. It is bright and clean with high ceilings. The front desk employees are friendly and always willing to help. There is a lot of seating as you head towards the bar area. The room where breakfast is set out each morning is very large and closed off when not in use. You can order food from their onsite restaurant as you sit in the dining area, which has many tables, or you can call and order food from your room and then go pick it up downstairs. We had a 2 bedroom suite. The king bed room had a large bathroom with a walk in shower. There were shelves and plenty of towels. Good water pressure. The soap and shampoo are in dispensers. The other bedroom had 2 queen beds with a tub and shower combo. It was smaller than the other bathroom. Both have the sinks outside of the shower and toilet area. The light around the mirror over the sink was very bright. It would be nice if there was an option to dim it. Plenty of towels and soap in each bathroom. The beds were comfy and the bedding was clean. We had a full size fridge in the kitchen area. The microwave nightlight was burned out, which is unfortunate since we like to use that at night. The couch was comfy and clean. We had a counter and 2 kitchen chairs, no table. There was a small table in the living area. We watched tv one night. No issues there. The thermostat was easy to use and we were comfortable with the temperature day and night. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Yay! And an exhaust fan for the bathrooms. We needed clean towels one day and more Kleenex, and they brought them to our room promptly. We did not need housekeeping to come in during our 3 night stay, though they will come every other day, I believe it is. There are a lot of choices for the free breakfast. A very large selection of hot and cold items. They kept the area clean and well stocked. They also kept the tables clean and would also come around to take your dirty plates sometimes. It was the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. No plastic ware, either. All employees were friendly and helpful. We made use of the shuttle. That’s a great service! They will take you places within a mile of the hotel. We used it for going to and from the Metro stop. If you aren’t sure if the shuttle is coming soon, just call the hotel and they will send the driver to get you. The employees usually ask if there is anything else they can help you with, and are very service oriented. Stay here! (Unless you want a pool, which they do not have.)

The suite was very nice, particularly the layout and amenities. The staff and facility were top notch. The location was extremely convenient, but the neighborhood is very congested.
