The accommodation is very beautiful, modern, new, very large, close to shopping centers, various important places. I visited in the winter to become minus 20 ℃. I used a room with a bunk bed by myself. The air conditioner is on, but the upper bunk bed is hot and the lower is cold. Accommodation for family. The meal is a better impression than the price in the morning and evening. I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time. We would certainly recommend this place to others.
