Highly recommended. The location of the hotel is first-class, just on the hillside of the Acropolis. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the Acropolis, and 20 minutes to most of the historic sites, extending in all directions. The hotel is very clean, I 🈶️ cleanliness person can't fault it. The service is more patient and thoughtful, amiable... So it is not a luxury hotel, but it has a great feeling and taste. Right here

Ours experience at the Ava was so fantastic! We got upgraded to an executive suite because the room we booked had extended their stay! BONUS! The staff was excellent in helping us from the time we arrived til we headed to the airport! Any questions we had they answered in detail and we appreciated that so much! I would highly recommend this place and if we’re ever in Athens again they would be our first call! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!! Sure makes a trip so much better when you stay in a place that feels like home!

Excellent small hotel in the Plaka. Lovely helpful front desk staff. Views of Acropolis and Hadrian's Gate from balcony. Lovely room, delicious extensive breakfast buffet. Always someone to answer questions and help with any situation.

What a wonderful boutique hotel. Steps from fabulous Plaka. Exceptional customer service. Delicious breakfast buffet. Complementary bubbly upon arrival. Comfortable room. Complimentary slippers. Lovely decks with views of Acropolis. Perfection! I highly recommend this property!

What a great find! Spent 3 nights ahead of our cruise. The staff of the AVA were attentive from booking through check out. They made sure all our needs were met. In the heart of the Plaka District, we were close to restaurants, shopping and the sights. Most notably; the Acropolis could be seen from our balcony!! The hotel arranged private acropolis tour. Would definitely stay there again!

We travel a lot and this is one of our favorite hotels. The room has so many great features with the kitchen, amazing beds and location. But the best part of the hotel in Plaka was Magda, the manager. She always had a smile and was very friendly and welcoming. But more than that she went way over and above with her service for the guests of this hotel. She helped our family with Everything we needed from getting cabs or rides , delivering food and anything else we needed. Magda needs to be teaching other hotel managers what she does for her hotel guests to make them feel special. There are a lot of hotels but not every hotel gives the kind of amazing care that Magda gives. Also, I don’t know who supplies the food when you order from the hotel but the food was incredible. All three families traveling with us were so tired that we ordered out and the food could not have been any better. It was hot and delicious!! Thank you.

Boutique Hotel situated in the heart of Plaka. Staff were professional and helpful when required. The room was clean, spacious and comfortably slept our family of 4. To Acropolis was visible from the room balcony which looked great when lit up at night.
