Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park

The location is very good, it should be close to the downtown location, the airport subway to the nearby (with 2 subway stations), the one that is recommended to go directly, the walk is downhill, 10 minutes to the hotel, the road will pass through the Olympic Park. The Coca-Cola World and the Baseball Hall of Fame are all nearby. CNN is downstairs. The meals in the hall are all hamburgers. They are not very Chinese. There are many restaurants nearby. It is very convenient to go to the attractions. At check-in at noon, the front desk was very good. I said that I would like to reserve a mobile phone number to inform me, but I didn’t actually have it. I can take my room card and live directly when I return.

I was here to visit my 93 year-old father in a rehab place because he fell. I was here for 13 days leaving in the morning and arriving back around 5 pm each day and greeted with some wine or lemonade and a small delicious snack. Coffee each morning and lemon or cucumber water. Clean as can be. Truly was my home away from home cozy and comfortable and well appointed. breakfast was good. Dinner was fabulous. huge shout outs for the staff which made my time much easier and more pleas. I want to particularly acknowledge in no particular order, Ash, Michael, Sharmain, Dawson, Vi and Kenny. They harbored a lot of people and their dogs when I was here from the hurricane in Florida and they did it with grace. It is one of the nicest boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in thank you all! Huge gift in my difficult hour.

PROS: Clean room. Comfortable king-size bed. Large TV. Shower/tub combo. Mini-fridge and Microwave in-room. Toiletries. 24-hour coffee bar. About $100 for a Sunday night in October. CONS: Couldn't use AARP membership for 2 pm checkout. OVERALL: 9/10. I will stay here again when I'm in town.

The hotel is close to Lenox Square and Macy's, making shopping and eating very convenient. Breakfast is quite good, with oatmeal and bread. There is ice water, hot water and coffee in the lobby.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead

I was at the hotel on a business trip and didn't book my own room, so I can't speak to price/value. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast has a great selection and decent food (though the scrambled eggs were very dry my first day there). My toilet paper holder was broken, but that wasn't a big deal to me so I didn't mention it to staff. The linens are on the scratchier side, but that is probably to be expected from a mid-tier hotel - I don't spend a lot of time in hotels.
