Auckland Hotels with Free Breakfast

This is an excellent place to stay if you're transiting through Auckland airport. Being an exceptionally easy, 2 minute walk from the international terminal means that you're not having to juggle shuttle buses and whatnot. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms have everything you could need for an overnight stay. The whole place feels fresh and new. Highly recommend.

I stayed here to prepare for my flight from Auckland Airport the next morning. The Yellow Bus shuttle bus leaves every 20-30 minutes, and it takes about 20 minutes to get there. After checking in at the front desk of the neighboring THE GATEWAY HOTEL, I entered the building and found that the facilities looked quite old, but the room was spacious enough and the sheets were clean. There was no air conditioning, only a simple heater, so it may be a bit tough on cold winter days. You can hear a lot of noise from the next room and the hallway, so it may not be recommended for people who are sensitive to noise, but it was quiet at midnight and was a good hotel for a night's stay.

The resort is located by the sea and has a beautiful surroundings. From the room, you can see the sea and the black beach. The rooms are spacious, tall and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Although breakfast was included, I went to dinner at nine o'clock and there was almost nothing, and no more food such as juice yogurt, no one cleaned the table, so I stopped going to breakfast the next day. The service for dinner was very good.

Stayed here about 8 years ago on a trip to Auckland so thought we’d try again as it was a nice stay. This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which had a small lounge area, table and chairs and a kitchenette. Once again a pleasant enough stay but there have been little improvements so it is getting a little aged. The beds especially were too soft and definitely need replacing. It was however a nice enough stay. Quiet room and a very friendly and helpful gentleman who was at front desk. He was even kind enough to try to find us a nice recommendation for dinner and allowed us to use his computer and printer to do our online check in for the airport.

Superb location just a few minutes from the beautiful beach with plenty of shops and cafe / restaurants minutes away. Welcome and check in by Veronica was quick and very friendly and our room (room 4) is lovely and airy with a super balcony and everything you need for a relaxing stay. I knew there wasn't aircon and was a bit worried considering the fantastic weather, but needn't have worried, the room is cool and airy even when not using the two pedestal fans provided. The hotel is in a good location, with Subway, Chinese restaurants nearby, and a 15-minute walk from a large supermarket and a Chinese supermarket The sanitation of the hotel is very good and the service is also very good. There is now a construction site next to the hotel, but fortunately, construction is only around 9 in the morning. The hotel has triple rooms, and you can also choose standard rooms with extra beds.
