It's a standard five-star hotel, not amazing. Parking costs 60 New Zealand dollars. I left my thermos in the room when I left. I called back and they said it was gone. I was a little disappointed with the service.

Our stay at JW Marriott Auckland was unfortunately disappointing. Despite being Marriott Club members, we experienced a lack of prompt service throughout our visit. Many of the hotel facilities were under renovation, which we weren’t informed of beforehand, and there was no effort to provide any service recovery or alternative options to compensate for the limited amenities. The delays and lack of attention to detail made our stay feel far below the usual Marriott standard. For a brand known for exceptional service, we expected a much more seamless and accommodating experience. Regrettably, we left feeling undervalued as guests
