Fedrania Gardens Hotel

All I have to say is the pictures are over 10 years old, the rooms are dirty, the cleaning staff have no idea of how to clean, the towels are old and still look filthy when they are supposed to be clean the sheets are stained and very old, needs a lot of work doing, the reception staff are rude and that breakfast shouldn’t be called English those sausages have never seen England, no bar like it says, and it’s not self catering a kettle and a fridge come on get a grip two cups and saucers nothing else (really) never again

We resided in the new building and honestly it was great, the room was clean the view was great and the location made it super easy to travel around the city. I was scared because some of the other reiwes but i didnt have any problems during my stay. The stuff were very accomadating and its a great value for the price. The only thing that stop me from giving 5 stars is the lack of dietary alternatives in the breakfast.

We stayed in hotel for 2 weeks, We had read all the reviews before hand and feared the worst. The hotel is minimal to be honest, not a lot happening but we used it as a base and was ok for us. We had a swim -up room and it was fine, everything worked, could it have been cleaner (MAYBE). Luckily the sunset parties had finished the week before, The Swim-up pool was quiet until 3pm then it got a bit busier (as the main pool has not sunbed around it so everybody used the swim-up pool). The hotel is situated perfectly for the beach(5mins walk). We spent all our time at the beach 7.50 euro for 2 beds and an umbrella. would recommend the beach. We are in our late 40`s so clubbing isn't our thing, Found a pub (jokers square) that had entertainment every night and every sport that you could want to watch. spent most nights in here, staff are very friendly. Now the bad parts, The towels were clean but stained, only changed when we left them on the floor and the new towels were just as stained. bedding change once in the 2 weeks we were there. We locked everything valuable in the safe, so no issue with things going missing. Would I stay again (Probably not). READ ALL REVIEWS..

I am hoping that by now you have seen my review before going ahead and booking this place. It’s 2 star not 3 star, I arrived with spiders and cockroaches, dodgy shower and rotting wood in the rooms. Only one plug socket worked and WiFi only in the lobby. Breakfast was minimal and I had to beg them to add it on as it was part of my reservation. There was an old pool with algae and not used no sun loungers out by the pool. Which I recommend going to the beach anyway pool isn’t necessary. Cobwebs in the lobby and it hasn’t been renovated as much as the website states.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. But if staying here keep your expensive stuff locked up. Just got my coach bag stolen from the room, and guess what? They can’t give me any explanation or check who cleaned my room in the evening while I was out, and also no managers around to sort it out the problem. They don’t care, I’ve refused the cleaner in the morning and when I was out they’ve decided to clean my room? Plus she left “new” towels on top of where I’ve left my bag before going out. Even questioned me if I didn’t lost somewhere, if I have lost how comes I’ve got my wallet with me????? Police isn’t a much helper in this case, even explained to them my item it’s expensive. Looking at my room now I imagine how many other valued items they could’ve stolen from me.

1) The room never got cleaned, even requesting it to be cleaned several times and bedding changed it only happened once, and when we did request the bedding to be changed the reception staff brought the bedding and we had to do it ourselves, and some of the bedding brought was stained so we had to request more, also only one set was given when there was 3 beds 2) beds were never made 3) there was a pool party on the Sunday and we paid for swim up room which the pool was due to be open 10am-7pm however on this day we was told our 12 year old son had to get out the swim up pool at 4:30pm as there was people drinking! 4) my husband and son went for breakfast at 09:30AM the service took so long that at 10:30AM food still didn’t arrive and they then wasn’t allowed to get breakfast which we had included in our booking! 5) The bathroom light didn’t work! 6) The towels were replaced with torn and random towels. 7) The reception team were away from the desk for long periods of time and we had to wait to be seen whenever they may return!! 8) The room key continuously kept failing and we had to keep going up to reception to replace it! Sometimes even after going back to reception it didn’t work and we had to go back AGAIN! 9) when we did see cleaners and asked them a question they just pointed to reception! Without any other communication. 10) there was spare duvet covers in wardrobe but no cover on them and no cover was given even after requesting several times! Was the duvet even clean??? 11) the safe kept failing! We had to leave it open as it wouldn’t shut and lock!! Overall the hotel was very poor and we were very disappointed in the service! We paid £2187 for flights hotel and breakfast and feel very VERY overcharge for what we actually received!!

If I could giver zero stars I would! Had my stuff stolen, speaker, hair curler and straighteners which were expensive number one and number two as a girl on holiday having these taken ruined my holiday!! Staff are not bothered, rang police and they came out but didn’t sound too bothered either, sounded like because it wasn’t cash it wasn’t significant, but to me theft is theft. It’s a good job we’re not stupid enough to leave any money in rooms when we go away. Be very careful as maids will steal your stuff and nothing will get done about it, manager Tony said he was going to sort it and also go to staff accommodation to see if my stuff was there, he never came back. Not only am I out of pocket, my holiday was ruined. Also the reviews about cleanliness are all true never get any clean towels, sheets, toilet roll the maids are probably in your room just looking for what they can take.

This place is disgusting and extremely noisy. In a week I had my bed linen and quilt changed 0 times. Cleaning lady did absoluty nothing but making the bed. Nothing. Didn’t even restock toilet paper. You have to ask reception for toilet paper on this hotel! Had 4 towels, all different colors and logos. I think they’re just using lost-and-found towels from previous guests, I’m not kidding. Chairs both inside and on terrace is DISGUSTINGLY dirty. I looked under chair pillow and I almost threw up. No mount for shower head, only bath tub. Cool, but no plug for the tub. Had to ask reception for a plug for the tub, never heard from them.. I had room with private pool, pool was filled with sand, empty nitrous oxide cannisters and cigarettes from previous guests. Every morning pool guy comes and vacuum pool, with absolutely no effect obviously. He also just throw a random amount of chlorine without having done any testing at all. THIS IS DANGEROUS. 95% of the guests is 16-18 year olds from UK partying on the entire premises with each of their own bluetooth speakers playing loud techno until twelve o’clock and starting again at four in the morning when they’re getting back from town. Had to call reception every single night around four o’clock to tell him to do something. They stopped for 15 minutes and started again. They knew the staff doesn’t care at all. Everyday I stayed at the beach till sun went down because I didn’t want to go back to this place. This week was an absolute nightmare. Stay away from here.

The worse hotel and customer service! The hotel is not clean and the customer service is awful!!! The rooms are filthy, pillows are so old and don’t have a shape, bathroom dirty and full of limescale, you don’t get clean towels and they don’t even change the little soap bar for washing your hands! Food is terrible and pool so dirty!!! Do not waste your money staying here!!
