Wir sind enttäuscht. Schon bei der Ankunft sehr schlecht informiert. Beim Abendessen, Halbpension kam kein Kellner.

My husband and I stayed at this spa hotel on November 20th for our 10th anniversary. We are both 30 years old. We arrived and unfortunately for us seemed to be staying in hospice but that was the minor damage. We booked a room with a bathroom and sauna, practically unusable because they were on the balcony, it was raining in the morning and it was 3 degrees! The room smelled too, a room that cost us €270! We complained and a very nice cleaning lady came over and gave us an odor filter. The director gave us the option to change rooms and told us that someone would come the next morning to solve the problem. But the room would only be given to us if the problem continued! The hotel resort is too scattered, to reach the saunas you have to follow andites with clues and walk a little away. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed that after the rooms with table tennis tables we went into the saunas. Too disorganized! We booked dinner on the 20th in the 4-course winter garden, fair price of €39. Big problem the restaurant was only open from 6pm to 8pm. We were told to come at 6:30pm and no later! We adapted. The beds are uncomfortable, we couldn't sleep! I got out at the reception around 9 p.m. and no one was there! The breakfast was ok! But nothing memorable, there were no labels or allergens on what you ate. The Nutella available was a sub-brand and it wasn't Nutella! Nothing to forget! At the end, a Sunday was absolutely forgettable! Failed!

Very positive: an antigen test is carried out for every arriving guest in addition to 2 G! Temperature measurement takes place automatically in front of the “Spiegelsaal” (breakfast room). We stayed in a comfort room that had obviously just been renovated. The bed is super comfortable and height adjustable. A large balcony, sitting area, closet and chest of drawers with safe, flat screen TV on the wall and, as a highlight, a "fireplace" make the room very homely and spending time there is pleasant. There are emergency buttons throughout the room and in the bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The toilet is 52 cm high, higher than average, making it easy to use for people with limited mobility. There is a health area in the basement with a large fitness room, a wonderfully warm brine bath, rooms for treatments and a spa and wellness area. Here we were pampered with hot stone massages and a Kraxen oven. There are also many different saunas and a nice lounge area with free water and tea. Of course there is also a relaxation room here. All the staff at the hotel are extremely friendly. The food in the bistro is extremely tasty, even if the menu is not large. Then why don't I give it 5 stars? The breakfast buffet is very tasty and quite extensive. As a hotel guest, you sit in a small, separate part of the dining room, which is also used by the short-term guests staying here. It's more like a canteen and everyone, including hotel guests, has to clear their own dishes. We sat in the bistro until around 10 p.m., although the last orders are only taken until 8 p.m. Then, without warning, all the lights went out and we had to find our way to the lift in the dark. A friendly “we would like to finish work now” would certainly have been appropriate and then of course we would have gone to the room.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel as a wellness hotel (we cannot assess it as a rehabilitation clinic). Before arriving: we sent an email to the hotel asking them to decorate the table nicely on the day of my husband's birthday: we never received a reply. On the day of the birthday, no reaction or congratulations... what a pity. We had barely arrived: the overnight stay had to be paid for in advance, if you want to pay by invoice in the hotel so that you don't always have to carry money with you, you are asked to pay 50 euros in advance (does it seem that there is a lack of trust in the guests?). Given the room prices, we did not expect any additional parking fees, as the hotel has its own parking lot. Room: nice room in a wooden house, a bit cramped, we got an upgrade, thank you! Unfortunately, we didn't have any flip-flops, we had to buy them separately... this in a wellness hotel. A bathing bag/basket would also be very practical. Guests should not be charged for 1 bottle of water per day. We had consumed one bottle of water, but unfortunately none was refilled. Wellness area: barely enough. The pool area and bio sauna area are actually accessible/connected underground. However, as the beauty area was closed on Saturday, you had to walk around in the cold outside in the snow...incomprehensible. In a wellness area, I don't just expect tea and water; fruit (at least apples) would be appropriate. On arrival, you receive 1 bath towel per person...which is insufficient as there are no bath towels in the sauna area. So, whether you like it or not, you use the same bath towel in the sauna and on the lounger. Breakfast buffet: basically everything is there, very carelessly presented. Can you make your own fried eggs? Are you supposed to clear the dishes yourself after the meal? This was incomprehensible to us...this isn't a cafeteria, is it? Dinner: 5-course menu, good variety, we enjoyed it. It's a shame that the starters are prepared as mise-en-place and kept a little too cool until they were served. Departure: we weren't asked whether we enjoyed our stay - hence the feedback here on Tripadvisor.
