incredible stay at the Grand heritage Badulla, where luxury meets excellence. Diverse range of meals catered to various nationalities was both delicious and impressive. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, making the experience even more special. Reasonable prices and good value for money spent in Badulla, and I look forward to returning soon.

I was in hotel 2 nights in the Luxury room and it was a really unpleasant experience and never recommended to any. Please dont stay their and try to find a somewhere else. I went to the hotel on 27th evening no one were at reception and after few minutes managed to find someone called lasitha. He was the first person i met at hotel in reception area and really bad person with no idea how to talk to visitors. Acted in so bad and made me so dissapointed with the way he talked to me. Maybe he thought this is very first time im gonna stay in a hotel. I have spent last two months in all provinces and stayed in different hotels but honestly i would say this is the worst place i have ever stayed. They dont know how to welcome. Specially Lasitha is a really black mark to the hotel. He was like at reception as you have booked HB basis room you cant eat or order any other foor in the morning and dinner. How is he can decide my food. He was acted like if you want to stay at the hotel be their by following his order. Realky dissapointed. Then next day i had a discussion with two persons and i have asked reception to arrange tea and snack morning. While im having the meeting one short room boy came and asked did you asked food what you want tell me so disgusting infront of a participants is that the way to talk. And then he asked are you going to stay 28th nigt as well did you inform the hotel if not go and do that. What kind of behavior is that, a room boy asking me to do things like a boss. I have booked the room 3 weeks before by emailed tharanga and phoned him regarding checkin and checkout times and dates as well. Way that guy acted really irritated. I was in so stress. And sunil at restaurant someone said he is the restaurant manager. Not a person who can be manager or a worker at a restaurant area. Even he dont know how to great guest. Dont know just smile and welcome the guests. I said good morning in the morning and he was like who the hell is this man, what the hell is he said and went without saying and even smiling. I want to tell only mr. Chamara and Ms. Piyumika was the best workers at hotel and supported me lot after having so many dissapointment. Really appreciate the way they handled the guests. Very pleasant. Only that 2. Otherwise all of others are so bad. Management should do something on that and recruit the employees who are having good knowledge on dealing with guests. Make sure to inform Lasitha and suni that without guests hotels cannot run. And give them a good training or get people who are weith good manners. Im not gonna recommend this place to anyone. And out of 10 hotels i have stayed in last two months this was the worst place. Check on my reviews in other hotels and decide what to do. Good points 1. Room is good and spacious a (but really noisy as its not sound proofed ) 2. Close to the main road 3. Food is delicious

Comfortable halls and rooms. Clean inside and out. Very delicious food. Kind and intimate staff. Provides a very valuable service. High quality service at an affordable price. Close to city center. About one KM to bus stop and two to railway station. WIFI reception is poor. Good place to stay for sight seen in Budulla area.

Badulla has far worse places than this, yes. But despite good points the hotel is too close to guesthouse-level to justify the price charged. Good: restaurant, excellent and quick breakfast and extensive HB dinner. The party noise sometimes has to be taken for granted for these kind of hotels that thrive mostly on weddings etc. Mixed: room is spacious, but stacked with 3 single beds it still feels packed. Bathroom is badly designed so that 1 minutes of showering already completely floods the floor. Staff service at restaurant friendly, at reception far less so. Outright bad: WiFi. Untolerable slow or even absent. (And btw no driver's quarter, again showing a guesthouse level not a hotel service level and value).
