It's a very budget hotel, you've got go up and down a number of flights of stairs to get to your room. There is a lift but only on one side of the hotel, The view side, no lift. That view is really good, even mist rolls in from time to time. Downside. the road to walk to town is pretty dangerous as tuk tuks, buses and cars don't really look out for pedestrians. Some of them even park where pedestrians walk. The food also was pretty average. There isn't much to do in the nearby town. Laundry is charged per item.

Great place, the only minus was that we didn't get elevator for our room ; ) but the guys from the hotel helped us out. The room was clean. View from window was amazing Breakfast and dinner was very good. Hospitality of the staff is 5/5 they were very helpful.

I would like to highly recommend the hotel. Rooms are clean equipped with all the amenities necessary, stuff is very nice and helpful. Most importantly the view is amazing. We had a great time at the bar. I recommend trying the pink lady drink.

Comfortable hotel with heated rooms (it was 14 degrees during the day!). Wifi operational. Very attentive staff. Perfect breakfast and dinner with excellent service. Extraordinary view.

The hotel is fantastic, extremely clean and with 5-star service. The staff is super concerned about our well-being, and I have to mention the excellent conversation and learning about the country's history with the employee Sagara, who is unusually friendly and intelligent. Breakfast is very varied and has options for all tastes, as well as the buffet and à la carte dinner, both very well prepared and tasty. I loved my stay and I will certainly return!

Very clean and friendly staff.Worth for the price, rooms are very good with nice view.The food is not tasty as expected. Need to improve.play area for kids and indoor sport area is impressive. good place to spend time with your kids and friends

For the rate, the place offers a breathtaking view and clean spacious rooms. Staff is very very friendly and accommodating. Best thing for families is there is a dedicated kids play area on the top floor with a fully equipped kids play area, carom, table tennis and many more.. A gym in a very good condition is also available. Food quality and portion size is the only downside we had.. We ordered room service and the food wasn’t tasty and portion size is small for a la carte.. If I visit Haputale again, this will be my place to stay for sure..
