Location is key as it is the only hotel on the much desired Marina with yachts and boardwalk filled with shops, bars and restaurants It is an older hotel which means rooms are huge and all have balconies. Very clean and staff was very attentive. I opted out of the all inclusive plan. Highly recommend and there is public ocean beach access nearby.

This is an affordable all-inclusive place to stay with a nice beach for swimming and sitting on the sand. There isn't much shade but you can rent a beach umbrella and chairs. The lobby and buffet are open air so it can get really hot during the warmer months. The food was safe, but unremarkable. There was a good variety of choices everyday and each night at the buffet had a theme, such as Mexican, Seafood night and BBQ to name three. We were there at the beginning of October and the weather was still quite hot and the Air Conditioning in the inside restaurants was not quite strong enough to cool the place down, but the servers were excellent. I was worried before arriving that the hotel would be noisy at night, but they have a night club for the resort across the street for all of the late night partiers making the hotel a quiet place to rest and sleep. However, one of the elevators must have been over something very stinky because most of the time, there was a smell of sewer for a lot of our rides. It was the elevator that was for the rooms on the beach front side of the hotel that went up to the 7th floor. The other elevator in that section only went up to the 6th floor. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on a top floor with roof exposure so our room was never able to cool down below 77 degrees despite the hotel's efforts to fix the AC so I had difficulty sleeping. I understand the lower rooms were nice and cool for sleeping. The maid did a great job keeping our room clean! This is a great place to stay for those who like a busy active beach area. It is centrally located which makes it easy to go into town or access tours. The hotel staff was great. If you want a more relaxing, quieter beach and pool, you will probably need to go elsewhere.

Looking to travel with family? Highly recommended! This is a luxury hotel with a ”boutique” vibe and Excellent service. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in PV (have stayed in Sheraton, Westin). The pool is well-maintained, the kids playroom is awesome (Thank you Bibiana!). The property is very modern, very well maintained, though rooms are a bit small. We stayed at the Marriott in Cancun as well, similar experience. Best budget luxury resort in PV.

The beach is amazing at this locations. Staff are fantastic and 100% made our stay. We would book again with the hopes the staff would still be there. They truly go above and beyond. There was always room around the pool. It's a smaller resort but was exactly what we were hoping for. They truly made us feels special.

Last year, we had an amazing experience. This year the hotel was under construction, therefore the lobby was closed and restaurants were limited. They did accommodate us to use an “outside” restaurant. We made the best of everything. Staff was still amazing. Our first room had an ant problem and I was given a can of raid the first night. After that they were good about changing our room. We booked through Costco and shame on them for not ever notifying us of the construction. I would say this is a great average hotel. Their sister property emotions is disgusting. So don’t bother. I don’t think I will be back, I think there is way better out there for your money. The one thing that does set this resort apart from others is the 2 bedrooms, which is great when you have teenagers.

I have stayed at some high end beachfront hotels n the area over the past 15 years and if you are coming to town and do not need a beach front hotel this is the place. I stayed here when it first opened and it was clean, staff very hospital and after several years open it has gotten better WOW! And the price you can not beat for the area and cleanness, you want to stay here. David the GM and his staff have kept things very clean and made service improvements that have enhanced the the visitors experience. It is our home away from home. Donnie G

We where there last week. And we loved it! Incredibly clean, buffet is small (It is a small hotel!) but everything was good and fresh, snack bar as well. Ask for any drink, they can make it. Service at the pool was awesome. It is a family resort, so there is a lot of kids, but how nice all those Mexican people was. Ther wasn't any animation, and by 10:00 pm, it get's really quiet, so if you want to party, you have to go out downtown. Of course, you are going to spend some money, but we also do when we are going out downtown Montreal!. The only thing 1 did not like is the beach, not because it's not nice, but the waves in the sea where incredibly strong, which was not fun at all, at least for me that could not stand up and had a couple of shooters of salted water! I would strongly suggest that they put an outdoor shower at the beach so people can refresh while on the beach, since it is so hard to go into the ocean. Is it a good idea M. Danny, manager? Lol. In November, my younger, taller wife and I spent a week at the Holiday Inn and Suites Marina and Golf resort. My younger/ taller wife is 30 days younger and 2 inches taller than my 1st wife ( passed ). My 1st wife and I visited the Holiday Inn in Puerto Vallarta 27 years ago. The property has been sold and the Marina and Golf Resort is the new standard bearer for the Holiday Inn in Puerto Vallarta. I enjoyed my 1st stay at the Holiday Inn in 1996. Over the last few months, I told my younger/taller wife that I was really looking forward to staying at the new property. My expectations were greatly exceeded. The new property is in a fantastic location close to the Marina districk of shops. Check in was fast and seamless. The lobby has an open concept and is well furnished. Peace and comfort welcome you even in the busy times. The staff were kind and professional. Rodiego who works at the front desk was a pleasure to speak to on every occassion during our stay. Neftali and Betulio who work in the dining room are the best waiters that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My wife and I both developed friendships with these gentlemen. We are looking forward to retuning just so we can spend more time with these fine people. Come on 2024 trip. The food at the hotel was very reasonably priced and the chiefs are superb. We enjoyed a complamentry buffet breakfast every morning and a delicous supper every evening. It was great we never even thought about eating anywhere else. The pool and gym are located on the 2nd floor. The outdoor pool is a welcome relief during the hot part of the day. The pool deck is very large and can be used for multi functions. Alberto the pool bar server was another friendly and thoughful employee of the hotel. I enjoyed all of my contacts with him. Laundry facilities are also on the 2nd floor and easy to ccess. Little did I know that my expectations would be blown out of the water. Who knew that I would meet people who worked at the previous Holiday Inn during my trip in 1996. Thanks to Betulio and Alberto it was really cool to learn that we met back in 1996. What Odds? I highly recommend that you visit this property if you are in the beautiful city of Puerto Vallart.
