Luckily, the hot pot at the restaurant next to the guesthouse was quite good, which was some consolation in the cold, rainy, and powerless weather. We ended up sleeping in the room from the afternoon until 9:30 pm when the power finally came back on. We quickly turned on the air conditioning to warm up. Thankfully, the next day was sunny and bright, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery even without power. In short, the guesthouse was great, but just avoid the whole scenic area during power outages.
