Pingtan County Hotels with Balcony

The hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street. The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist. The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries. The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same). In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

The three bedrooms are spacious, each with a separate bathroom, and the privacy is excellent. The bedding and bathroom facilities are comfortable. There is a professional billiard table on the basement floor of the villa. The leisure area is oversized. The location of the villa is also very good. It takes ten minutes to walk to Jiefangbei. It is super convenient!

The environment of the B&B is truly amazing, with a Mediterranean style. You can enjoy the sea view while lying on the bed. There is also a balcony. Sitting on the balcony, drinking a small drink and blowing in the sea breeze from the island🏝️, I feel so good. You can relax and enjoy traveling. By the way, the lemon tree in the room looks fake, but it is a real tree! Please don't pinch it. [Love] The service attitude of the store is very good. The handsome brother and the beautiful lady are very enthusiastic. The recommended seafood fried chicken is delicious! I’m going to give you a Yujiale restaurant next door to Amway 🍴. You heard me right. It’s recommended by experienced foodies. Haha, the oysters and abalone are very fat and fresh. You must try their shrimps. They have a fresh and sweet taste. We ate them during our two-day stay. Three meals! Cheap and delicious😋, the people in Pingtan are very nice, honest and enthusiastic❤️Recommend everyone to come!

🏡 Comfortable Stay: The bedding was soft and fluffy, the air conditioning was powerful, and the shower water pressure was excellent—it felt just like home. The best part was the small courtyard; enjoying the sea breeze and tea in the evening was simply wonderful! 🌊 Amazing Location: Just a few minutes' walk to the beach, so you don't have to get up early to watch the sunrise; you can stroll there in flip-flops. Watching for the bioluminescent plankton is also hassle-free; the location recommended by the receptionist was spot-on, and we actually saw it—it was definitely worth the trip! 🍜 Delicious Food: All the restaurants recommended by the receptionist were delicious, and none were disappointing. 👏 Friendly and Excellent Service: The receptionist was incredibly approachable and responded promptly to any requests via WeChat. I'll definitely come back! In short, if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in Pingtan that's close to the sea and has a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go!

🌊 A Fantastic Coastal Getaway with Top-Notch Service! I highly recommend everyone to stay here and relax for at least a night or two. The hotel has a genuinely cool atmosphere, and the absolute highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. The service here is simply on another level—they are so attentive, welcoming, and ready to help with a smile! The Vibe & A Few Quirks 😹 To be completely honest and a bit playful, the property is a little ”tired” and shows some wear and tear. The strong sea breeze has left its mark with some rust here and there. If I were the manager, I’d definitely grab a bucket of fresh paint and give the place a little makeover! Also, every now and then, you might catch a faint, mysterious scent that sits somewhere between ”stale water” and ”did a confident local stray cat just mark its territory here?” 🐈⬛ But honestly, you just laugh it off. It doesn't ruin the vibe and just becomes a funny part of the coastal experience. Amenities & Dining ☕️ The hotel has some really lovely spaces to unwind. There is a cozy library where you can relax, a great kids' area which is super convenient for families, and a nice bar for the evenings. As for the breakfast, the buffet selection isn't huge, but don't let that disappoint you—everything they serve is fresh, high-quality, and genuinely delicious! Bottom Line: Despite a few minor cosmetic quirks, it’s a wonderful place with a great soul. Embrace the coastal character, enjoy the amazing hospitality, and have a great time! Although the decor is dated, the materials used are not cheap. The rooms are exceptionally large, with bedrooms and balconies upstairs for peaceful sunrises and sunsets, and living rooms and bathrooms downstairs. The only drawback is its location in the mountains, making transportation not particularly convenient. Fortunately, it's the off-season, so there are fewer people. The restaurant provides meals at 39 RMB per person per meal, which is excellent value. There are also two adorable deer at the nearby deer camp. The atmosphere here feels like home. Electric blankets are already on when you arrive, and the various thoughtful services are excellent. They'll call you back for dinner when it's time, and if it's windy outside, they'll even bring your meal to your room, making you feel very warm and welcome.

It was difficult because of the language barrier, but thank you for helping me in real time through WeChat. The accommodation with a view of the windmill was really nice, and it was spacious and comfortable, so I had a comfortable stay. The only regret was that the towels were disposable, which was a little inconvenient. It was a Chinese holiday, so there were a lot of people, and the traffic control was severe, so it was difficult, but if you avoid the national holiday, it seems like it will be a very leisurely trip. I regret not seeing Blue Tears this time. I will visit again next time I have the chance. Thank you.

It was a very satisfying experience. Although there was nothing to do as a result of Typhoon Shantol, the only activity was to climb to the top of the mountain observation deck with my parents, but we were almost blown away by the typhoon. But the B&B is really impeccable, the food is delicious, the rooms are great, and the service is beyond praise. If I have the chance to come to Pingtan again, I will undoubtedly choose his place first.

The off-season in Pingtan was fantastic! The owner was very helpful, contacting us in advance and keeping track of our arrival. Located in a secluded spot in the county town, they promptly greeted and guided us to our accommodation. The service was excellent. The inn was artistic and quiet, with very comfortable rooms, separate wet and dry areas, and good soundproofing. There were drinks at the reception on the first floor, and a terrace on the second floor where you could dry clothes and enjoy tea – so pleasant! My room near the stairs had poor WiFi, but they promptly offered to change rooms. The efficiency and service were excellent. Highly recommended!
