GGuest UserThe staff were very helpful even though it was nearly the end of the season. My room on the first floor (no lift) had an electric kettle and mugs, a small refrigerator and a hair dryer. It was a double room with a balcony. (I was on my own but there is no discount for single occupancy, but this appears to be normal everywhere). The room might seem small to some, but I found it's compact design, including large walk in shower, separate wash basin and separate toilet, very acceptable. Maps of the island and the town are provided in reception. The guest house is very close to the town centre, a short walk down a little hill and you are immediately in all the little streets that run down towards the port and front. There are many cafes and restaurants on the front, just be aware you will always pay more to drink or eat at these and there are plenty of bars and restaurants just a little inland. Think twice about hiring a car because the bus service is excellent.
NB This is for Trip.com: you were not very helpful when I received a message regarding opening times for reception, which meant my flight would arrive too late in the afternoon to get into 8Kto. I used your live chat and was told to use the 8Kto number to which I could never get a response. I tried live chat again and was assured that you would find out what I should do before my arrival date (mid-September) - you never did. Using the net I finally found an email address for the guest house and they immediately responded to my message, giving me instructions on how to get in and find my room when I arrive. Surely you should have been able to give me the email address in the first place, especially as you advertise your service as always giving immediate support to travellers.

GGuest UserIo e la mia partner siamo stati una notte di passaggio per un’altra isola. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi: ci sono venuti a prendere all’andata in aeroporto e ci hanno portato al terminal dei traghetti (aiutandoci un sacco, data la valigia e i molti scalini di skiathos). La stanza era pulita e aveva un balconcino davvero utile per appendere i teli/costumi bagnati. Il bagno purtroppo era un po’ piccolo e la doccia leggermente scomoda (a telo), ma nulla di importante. La terrazza che hanno all’ultimo piano è davvero bella oltre che comoda per mangiare e fare colazione. La sera c’era un po’ di rumore.

GGuest UserI was mostly satisfied, what really annoyed me was the cleaner. There is no sign that can be latched so that it does not come. Whenever I would have rested a little after lunch, he used to knock on me.
In addition, you can only take a shower in complete darkness, because there is no light installed in the shower, it was very strange.
And paying for the 30 euro air conditioner didn't go well either. Overall, I don't think it's 5 stars, but it's a bit strange, but it's a good place to stay.
