Srinagar Hotels with Balcony

I tried to connect with the property. Several times before arriving. Without any reply.

The hotel is very good in Srinagar. It is built against the mountain and is very safe. There is the only entrance to the mountain below, and the UN observer camp is below the hotel. There is a place to eat when you go out, and it is very convenient to go to the center of Srinagar nearby, walking to Banda Lake. The room is not small and hot water is enough. The breakfast was good.

If i have to sum up the stay it would be pocket friendly, comfortable and a lot of convenience considering proximity to the tourist attractions, restaurants and shops around. The quality of your stay is highly dependent on what you are expecting. In our case, we wanted good beds because the whole day was spent out and a good, clean bathroom since we were a family - and we were not disappointed! last but not the least it’safe. At srinagar you need to enjoy the rustic beauty rather than sophisticated touch of a star hotel. One piece of advice, carry your own towels. Special shoutout to ashraf, at the front desk. An absolutely friendly and a funny host. A great human being!

Fabulous location, we were welcomed very warmly and the car was valet parked which was important as it was cold and raining. We were offered a warm drink and a comfortable place to sit whilst the formalities of check in were completed. We didn’t even have time to finish our drink before we were offered an upgraded room at no extra cost. WOW! The room was spacious, beautifully dressed and we were shown our own private balcony with the most spectacular view and this was also very nicely furnished. Everything was as we’d hoped and expected, because the hotel is EXPENSIVE, but we received exactly what we paid for. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the Pandemic has affected everyone and this hotel has had to do it’s best to survive these difficult times. The facilities in the Spa have been cut back to save costs but when we went to use it the place was warmed and treatments were enhanced to ensure we were more than satisfied. Luxury is expensive and we really enjoyed the pampering!!! All I can say is that this hotel and the treatment of their guests is everything you would expect for the price you have to pay. If wehad unlimited money we would stay only here when we visit Kashmir, which I do often to visit family. Even when we do visit family here we often visit the hotel, just to enjoy the gardens and admire the building and the ambience. Although we may not spend one penny on these visits the treatment by the staff has always been the same as we experienced on this visit. One word to describe this hotel FABULOUS.

A cost-effective houseboat! The operator is a hospitable and talkative Kshemir guy, patient and funny, as long as the guests are happy, they seem to be happier than me! Haha Although the houseboat is not comparable to the concrete building, even if I go in December, the hot bath, the stove, and the carpets full of the boat did not feel cold. Staying for three days, thank you!

The location is on a river (not on the big lake), only 8 meters away from the other side of Xing, you don't have to choose if you want to see the beautiful scenery of the big lake. Sell the itinerary as soon as you arrive, Rs500 for two hours to see the two gardens (nothing to look at). Wash a piece of clothes Rs50. Go to the veg market in the morning to charge Rs800/2 hours. The room is not locked, and the boss said he believes he does not need to lock it. Ha ha.
