"First of all, I don't know why this hotel has such a high rating.
First, this hotel is not a hotel in the strict sense, and there is no 24-hour front desk (which caused us a lot of inconvenience later)
Second, we booked the most expensive room type in this hotel, but it is very far from the sea and the volcano! It is on the mountain! It is very inconvenient to go to the beach or any check-in point, and it takes a long time to drive a winding mountain road to get there! In our opinion, the sea view and volcano view are completely gimmicks.
Third, there was a sudden power outage at 11 o'clock in the evening. We didn't have time to wash up, and we called the staff on WhatsApp and sent messages for a long time without receiving a reply! It was only after 2 hours, at more than 1 o'clock in the morning, that we received a reply, and it was after the water and electricity were restored to normal. We waited for a long time in vain, and all our electronic devices needed electricity, but unfortunately we spent this night in a very worried and bad mood, which undoubtedly affected the mood of the trip. Although the hotel can check in early and provide champagne service upon request, I don't think this is what the staff let us recall as a ”benefit” on WhatsApp. The power outage and water outage are not your fault, but I think your attitude is not very sincere, just superficial. No matter what you say, you should know it in your heart. To be honest, I didn't see the hotel's symbolic compensation for such a long power outage, because it really affected our mood at the time. But anyway, this hotel is not recommended. If you have a car and you don't have high requirements for sea views and volcano views, if you don't want to go to the beach and can get there quickly, you can book this hotel."

The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and will assist with various issues. The next visit will definitely stay at this hotel again."

I had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and unique, with stunning views that made every moment special. My room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful and peaceful sleep throughout my stay.
I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who made my experience so memorable—from the team who checked me in to the bellman and doorman who kindly assisted me upon arrival and departure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
It is no surprise that this hotel is so famous. You have created such a beautiful memory for my vacation, one that I will always cherish. I truly look forward to returning in the future.

I recently stayed here and overall had a pleasant experience. While it’s true that some of the interior facilities are a bit outdated and could use an upgrade, everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay, which made a big difference. The location was convenient and easy to access, and I felt safe and comfortable during my time here.
Despite the older furnishings, the room was functional and had everything I needed. Wi-Fi worked well, and basic amenities were provided. It’s not a luxury place by any means, but if you’re looking for something affordable, practical, and decently located, this is a solid option. I would consider staying here again for short trips or business visits.

We just had the most wonderful stay at La Plage. We arrived and were seen immediately and offered a drink whilst we checked in. We were then given a tour of the hotel and some information on the local area.
We were shown to our room which was a sea front bungalow with a hot tub. Just gorgeous! We had the most beautiful view of Isola Bella.
The next morning we were awake before the birds for an excursion to Etna (for my birthday), before we left someone appeared at the door with a birthday cake and a candle. A really lovely touch. Upon our return the ladies who cleaned the rooms stopped by whilst I enjoyed a glass of wine in the hot tub to say hello and sang me happy birthday too!
The service was impeccable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are AMAZING and so attentive. The food is delicious. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there.
Thank you everyone in La Plage for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to come back

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.
Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.
The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.
This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Everything was good except for the laundry. We paid 40 euros and our laundry came back still somewhat dirty and not smelling clean. All my white clothes were ruined because they didn't separate. Wasted my money and my clothes. Breakfast was good but repetitive. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. We had a sea view room which was beautiful however it felt so stuffy and humid that it prevented us from sleeping and we were unable to turn on the air conditioning. The walls were so thin that we could hear people outside all night, we could hear the people have breakfast in the morning, and we could hear the opera couple streets over. Location was close enough to the bus and to shops and restaraunts.

Guest UserNice hotel! I had a very late check-in after they closed the reception. Very strange! I chose a hotel with a 24/7 reception! They left me a note with detailed instructions on the hotel door. It said that I would find the keys to the room in the door, but they were not there!!! My sleepy brain could only think of going down to the empty reception and picking up the keys from there. There were no questions at check-out.

Hotel located right next to the funicular to Taormina. The rooms are simple and slightly dated but perfectly adequate for one night. The hotel has a very nice view of the sea. Free parking is not easy in high season (high traffic area).

AAA999A simple hotel for 200 euros a night. It's a peak season, so it's not a big deal! I had to ask someone else to pick up my luggage because it was a three-star.
But the view was great because it was a beach view!
Breakfast was also a great view and I was happy because it was delicious!
Carmen's service was great! I think it's the owner ㅎㅎ
But it was 8 euros for a glass of aperol spirates!
The downside was that I had to walk about 10 minutes to the cable car.
There weren't many restaurants around, but I've been resting well! The photo posted is the photo of the food delivered on the terrace of the place to eat breakfast ㅋㅋ
