This opens out to the upstairs deck to catch the summer breeze (or smell the flowers or help yourself to the fresh herbs). Beneath is a covered deck, where we have our "spare" kitchen and full-size fridge.From the turret, you pass through the triclinium, where the glass balusters give you unimpeded view of the trees and view to the south of the house. (We don't offer TV, but you won't miss it.)Then there's the kitchenette, which has a few surprises of its own. (Don't make us tell you in advance.) All the basics you need are here: oven, microwave, stovetop, sink. The kitchenette includes a dorm-sized refrigerator. We keep it outside on your deck, behind a sliding copper door. (We don't like listening to refrigerators cycle and hum, so that's why we keep them outside.
