Best Hotels near Dewata Penjor Home, Bali

I have been a regular guess since June 2019. This hotel offers a simple, and clean room at an affordable price. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Located in a quiet area but yet just a few minutes drive to the main road that could lead you to the business centre of Denpasar.

Location is very good and the beds are very comfortable. However. The whole hotel is dark and looks nothing like the photos on the website. The lobby has mosquitos everywhere, after we checked in we both had 10+ bites. Mosquitos also cover the swimming pool area and the seating there so we had to stay in the room. There were no windows in the room so it was very weird having no natural light. Bathroom smelt very weird. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else are unfortunately it was not pleasant. Staff are very nice however.

We stayed 1 night (19-20 October 2019), with an order on behalf of the wife. The location of the hotel is in the city center with large highways, so traffic jams are rare. Opposite the hotel is a 24-hour mini market, so it's easy to buy something. But you have to be more aware when crossing, because the road is always congested & vehicles are passing very fast. Parking & drop offs Guests are quite spacious, making it easier for those who bring vehicles. The hotel lobby is closed without any signposts or staff standing guard at the front door, making it confused for the first time staying here. We arrived at the hotel around 14:30 pm, then we checked in very easily & quickly. Not forgetting we were also given a welcome drink, which was refreshing on a hot afternoon. But it's a pity, the bellboy didn't help us carry things to the room. The bellboy staff just kept quiet, without any initiative to help. Even though we brought 2 bags, along with 2 toddlers who would be very helpful if the bellboy had the initiative. We got a room on the 2nd floor (225), with a view of the city. Large bed, according to what we ordered. The room contains a table, chairs, telephone, ample storage, plenty of clothes hangers (no closet), a water heater, 2 drinking cups, 2 bottles of mineral water & some sachets of tea and coffee. The air conditioner works well, because it feels cold quickly. Cable tv with various channels, but unfortunately a little bit shaded. Complete toiletries, shampoo, bar soap / liquid, toothpaste & toothbrush, tissue and body lotion. There is no hair dryer provided, may have to ask first. The bathroom uses a shower, but unfortunately a large shower for adults cannot be used. Water pressure is also very less, and does not release enough heat. The swimming pool is divided into 2 levels (adult & childs), with a sufficient size of both. But the path to the children's pool is not maintained, in the form of sand with grass and the surrounding area is poorly maintained. So after the kids ”swim, their feet will get dirty with the ground to go to the rinse. At night we try to order food at the hotel (room service), at a very affordable price. We order sandwiches, fried rice, fried noodles, chicken soto & french fries (all of which have a pretty good taste). Tomorrow morning we have breakfast, with a varied menu with good taste too (cereals, bread, rice and various ”side dishes). Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel. But it would be nice if the shortcomings we get, can be fixed in the future. Thanks & Regards Ryan Valiant

This hotel has good employees, clean, friendly price, good service and good location. It's close to double six beach and surrounded by so many coffeeshop , restaurant and spa. They have pool and corner to talk or have guest visits us.

I can’t wait to return! Don’t think twice about it. I am traveling in a group of 5, I myself single in the studio worked beautifully. From arrival we were greeted at the airport quickly to the property where we were met once again with a warm welcome and orientation of our home for the next 6 days. Their story can be found on their website and is worth a read. We participated in their yoga classes, meditation, sistrum, ice bath, sound healing sessions. Kim is amazing and has impacted my life in a way no one else could touch. I wonder if she knows? A good selection from their breakfast menu was included, enjoyed it next to the pool near the ocean across the way. Potato Head was the first week of our journey to Bali and I now believe it when they say that when the stars align, you’ll know it. And Fysh, if you could be so blessed to meet her here. She took care of our group with her heart and it is still felt! I’m not going to ruin it for you. We stayed at Dream Village for a week and have mixed feelings about it. Pros: - Pool bar area is great for chilling during the day and night with a great view over Canguu. - Staff are really friendly - Quiet location although rooms have quite thin walls so you can hear other guests walking past the room and even in their own rooms. When the room next to you or above you has the shower on or flushes the toilet, you’ll know. - Relatively clean but some parts not very good. - Room is big - Great air con - Wifi has very good signal - Beds are very comfortable Cons: - Shower broke (fell off the wall) first day and still wasn’t fixed until day 5. Still usable but not very practical. - No hand soap anywhere across the hotel. I asked at reception for some and was told “we don’t have any. We just use shower gel.” I found this to be very concerning especially after COVID and by the fact that this also means that’s it’s unlikely the chefs use actual hand soap either. We bought our own to use. - Location a bit far out from things so you need a scooter or taxi to get to the main part of town/beach. - Dirty pillowcases and sheets - No balcony in rooms so can’t dry anything - Windows in room don’t open - Could do with a spruce up - a bit run down. - Breakfast is not great. Not much selection and some of the food doesn’t look very appetising. Orange juice is watered down, there is one type of cereal for kids, milk is warm, everything is covered with cling film because of the flies… Luckily there are some nice places nearby to visit. There also needs to be more breakfast type foods rather than carbonara and teriyaki chicken. A few things need to be improved here as it has the foundations to be a great hotel but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel has been taken over by the domestic 7-day group. Booked from the official website to pick up the pick-up, came to pick up the Chinese staff, very affordable price, we booked a suite on the first floor, soundproofed, the room is large and comfortable. There is a 1.2 meter deep pool. Except that the bathroom design is a bit inconvenient, the hot water is a bit slow, the shower head is too high, and can't take it down. Breakfast is a la carte, a little simple, but the hotel for a hundred dollars is understandable. The clerks are very polite. Walk to the beach for about half an hour, suggest a taxi, 10 minutes from Carrefour.

The room stank because aicon was mouldy. They had big problems with water in the ceilings, there was buckets everywhere tocatch the leaking water from the ceiling. The breakfast buffet was sub standard, tisay the least, and brought it to the manager's attention. Rice, cold chopped up chicken in a brown sauce and cold veggies were on offer. Just terrible. The staff in the hotel was, as always in Bali, super friendly. This hotel would probably get shut down in Western Countries. Never again.

Close to crossfit wunderlust, bali mma and soma fight club. Ive stayed here previously in 2020 pre covid. We had a maitenance issue with the bathroom one night door which was fixed the next morning, staff very helpful. There are stairs, no lifts however for those with lots of luggage or bad legs. Restaurant on site or easy to get gojek meals from the area. Little kopi shop down the road with great caramel lattes.
