Cicada did welcome us with a fusion of traditional Balinese design and modern luxury, while our valley suite offered a great view and relaxing comfort. The resort did represent itself in an impeccable cleanliness and serene atmosphere, with a very nice infinity pool. The gym, although very small in size, is adequately equipped for a basic workout. Restaurant Tangelo's beef wellington was a culinary highlight, and the outdoor à la carte breakfast provided us always a delightful way to start into the day. Recommendable stay!

My stay at the hotel through was simply perfect! The property is brand new, exuding a fresh and modern feel that immediately put us at ease. But the real showstopper was the stunning valley view right from our room. It was like waking up to paradise every day! The ambiance was tailor-made for a romantic honeymoon, and we couldn't have asked for a more ideal setting. Highly recommended for couples seeking a magical getaway.

The most incredible hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you arrive this hotel is absolute luxury. The rooms are huge. The welcome gin and petals in the bath are beautiful touches. There’s a brown makeup towel which shows their attention to detail. Breakfast is ab unlimited a la carte with incredible food. This hotel is everything and more. Daily excursions and activities! They even help you get a scooter. I wanted to stay in the infinity pool and jacuzzi forever. My mind was blown by everything at this hotel. I’ll definitely be back.

New resort at the time of stay. Really nice, big and clean rooms. A lot of privacy given the location. Facing forest and greenery which was serene and tranquil. Free Afternoon tea and cocktails given on a daily basis. Staff were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Would come back again.

A resort hotel in the mountains of Ubud! It is very far from the airport. It takes more than 2.5 hours to arrive on weekdays and traffic jams, but it is a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax physically and mentally. In terms of accommodation, it is quite quiet and peaceful overall. The breakfast is excellent and completely a la carte. But the portion size and taste are very good, and the service staff at both restaurants are great! Very considerate and caring about guests’ feelings! The lobby manager is very cute and helpful in reserving good seats for dinner and watching the show. The only fly in the ointment is that there are not many activities in the hotel. After all, in a hotel in the mountains, guests spend a lot of time in the hotel. In addition to playing in the swimming pool and showing off their butts, the only other option is a paid SPA, but without advance reservation, I'm afraid You can't schedule the time you want; there is also an open gym about 6 square meters in size that is free to use. This is a place suitable for people who are completely free and do not participate in activities. The only thing I don't like is the girl at the check-in/out counter. She said she was the housekeeper taking care of me for the past few days, but the overall service was clearly scripted. However, facing me who didn't understand the language, she was a little impatient when explaining the deposit part. Sigh in front of me! During the 2 and a half days I stayed there, we only spoke during check-in and check-out. I didn't feel her enthusiasm for service, only her eyes eager for tips. Even before leaving, I asked her what the activities in the square were, and she just gave a brief explanation. It was not like other service staff who would kindly take guests to experience the activities and introduce them. Last but not least, they sent me an email the next day saying that I had not paid the SPA money and wanted to demand it from me. I was very suspicious! Since the URL is not the name of the hotel, I suspect that customer information may have been leaked!

Although it is far from the center of Ubud, it is a very good hotel to relax. The open entrance, the lovely villas and infinity pool, and the view are spectacular. All the food is delicious, and I ate too much at breakfast. The food at the welcome service was also delicious. My time at Cicada was the best.

Perhaps because there are only a few rooms, all the staff are remembered and are full of hospitality. The reception staff call you by name whenever they pass by you, and quickly arrange any requests. I participated in the morning activity, and the guide Kartika took me to her village and showed me her school and home, which was a valuable experience. She was worried about my husband who was not feeling well, and bought young coconuts on the way there as they said they were good for the stomach. Thank you very much. I stayed for two nights, and the hotel had morning activities, afternoon tea, and cocktail time, so I was able to stay there without getting bored. And it was all free. There is a shuttle bus to the city, but it seems that you can use it to go there or back depending on the time of day. It is rich in nature and the background music of birds and chickens was soothing. I would like to visit this hotel again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel will be newly opened in 2023. It is very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the view is broad, the breakfast a la carte is rich, and the service is first-class! It's a bit far from Ubud Palace, but there is a free shuttle bus to the center of Ubud!

This is the hotel I stayed in for my last night in Ubud. I was very satisfied with it. The hotel is set against a valley, and the scenery is very beautiful, but there are no mosquitoes. Facilities: Very new and luxurious, and very exquisite everywhere. Hygiene: Staff can be seen everywhere watering flowers and cleaning, and the room is super clean. Environment: Full of green, but keep a distance from the valley vegetation, and there are no mosquitoes. Service: The hotel staff speaks very good English and is very friendly. Everyone will take the initiative to smile and greet, and respond to any request. Meals: Breakfast is ordered, the taste is very good and very exquisite, the Japanese set meal is delicious, and the chicken noodle soup is also super delicious. The price of dinner is not very friendly, the price is very high, there is a per-person 1800K, so expensive... Another a la carte, two people ate four dishes and spent 1600K, and the taste was just average.... Taxes and 25% service charges are also required. It is not recommended to go there just to eat. Honeymoon couples who are particular about the mood can try it. There is a happy hour in the evening, 1 hour of unlimited cocktails, 240k per person, plus service fee. The hotel has a spa for 60 minutes, about 700k, and then pay the service fee. Overall, it feels good.

Let me start by mentioning two things that are disappointing. It is a bit disappointing that it is far from the city center, so it is not easy to enjoy Ubud activities together, but if you plan to visit ‘Bali Swing’ and ‘Mount Batur’ together, the location will somehow be resolved. However, since it is a place to stay for relaxation, it is a resort that you can choose if you reduce movement and enjoy the schedule within the resort. If you only stay within the resort, you should stock up on food before check-in, because the quality of the restaurant inside is evaluated as lacking compared to the details that went into the resort’s landscaping. (Personally, I think there is no professional Western chef.) Other than that, it was a very satisfying resort with very friendly staff, a Balinese atmosphere that is always smiling, a private villa, a private pool, a warm jacuzzi, and a crazy jungle view. Especially for honeymoon, it makes a pretty swan couple, and if you reserve a private villa, I recommend paying an additional fee to have a flower event for your wife at the pool.

I booked 5 hotels in Bali this time. This is the best one. The distance is a bit remote and the scenery is very good. The boss is so excellent and attentive, and the room is prepared with straw hats, rattan bags, special face towels, snacks, cocktails, coffee, and tea. The breakfast was very delicious and rich in variety. I didn’t know I couldn’t finish every item on the first day, haha, it was a waste. The service in all aspects of the hotel is good, but the sound insulation is a little bit. Maybe because the other rooms are in villas, the air conditioner in the room is a bit uncomfortable when it blows on the head. I wish the boss business is prosperous and getting better and better!
