Friendly place, the staff very helpfull. The building was old but they still can keep in good and clean. I know not all the guest can stay in old building but is there anything wrong with that ? as long as they can take good care of it, so what.....

Outside area and swimming area was very nice room need little bit update bed was comftible bedsheets was clean but bathroom need more cleaning done and we had some ants and other small bugs.

Despite having food in a lot of photos there is no restaurant or food available the closest is a 15min walk down a very narrow unlit road. No minibar at all despite an old price list in the cupboard still. The rooms are ok despite being in quite rough condition.

I imagine when the property was built it was stunning. the floors are marble and wood, the rooms are a lovely size. Sadly, it has been let go severely. Our room, 105 on the end of the ground floor had rotting floorboards, and the room was so damp that the key card control had been disabled so that the a/c could run 24/7 to combat the wet that appeared almost instantaneously whenever it was turned off. This was particularly dangerous as the marble floors became like an ice rink so we had to lay towels everywhere. The shower head spat water in every direction except mostly down and clearly needs a very good clean. There was a leak from the suite above which dripped constantly by the sink in the bathroom. We had a pillow absolutely covered in mould - this had obviously been seen by the housekeepers and it was only by chance we glimpsed inside the pillow case and saw it - the staff member who came to replace it was horrified. Mould is growing up most of the bottoms of the walls. The mattress I imagine is many many years old and needs replacing as it is so soft as to be uncomfortable. The ground floor rooms do not have balconies and outside seating like the first floor rooms even though they are described as having balconies. We did let maintenance know about the issues while we were at Mokko and they did what they could but the level of disrepair is substantial. The location is at the end of Umalas 1 and quite a walk to any restaurants or stores. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Very nice pool.

Mokko suite villas staff went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and as stress free as possible. The staff honestly couldn’t not have been nicer. So friendly and inviting. The cleaning staff were amazing! Our suite was cleaned daily and there was always a beautiful scent of fresh linen. 100% would recommend.
