The Haere Villa Seminyak Bali Reviews

Unfortunately, my six-night stay at Haere Hotel Seminyak ended up being a mistake that negatively impacted my trip. Despite requesting a quiet room, I was constantly disturbed by noise from the street and neighboring rooms, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The shower water temperature was constantly fluctuating, the bathroom has no ventilation, the room remains dimly lit despite having all the lights on, there are mosquitoes everywhere, gaps in the roof and slow wifi. Additionally, I found the pool to be dangerous as it’s very deep (1.6m) with rough tiles around the edge. Two of us sustained injuries while in the pool, and we were surprised to find that the hotel did not have any bandages available. Before my stay at Haere Seminyak, I used to prioritize hotels located near shops and restaurants for convenience. However, my experience at the hotel has taught me the importance of prioritizing a hotel's reputation over its location. I have realized that sometimes, it is better to stay in a high-quality hotel and use taxis to get around, especially considering the affordable cost of transportation in Bali.

We Booked for a week. Location is great if u like to have a nitelife in seminyak. Unfortunate me with family so my room is just nearby the street to the seminyak busy area. A lot of noise from the street until 3am. But the supervisor (Ibu Sari) is nice enough to listen to my problem that i cant really sleep properly with that level of noise..so she changed the room for me to a better villa.Love the villa, the staff, the pool is really deep make sure you check first before let the kids swim in it. Also walking distance to money xchnge,convnt shop and seminyak strip..Pict below is the new room villa. Huge and awesome. Parking lot and buggy services. 😄😄Worth the price for a week. Dont forget to tip the awesome staff. They all are really nice and honest.

Amazing location, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Huge and clean rooms with comfortable pillows and bed. Pool was clean and big. Breakfast was good. Me and my friends had a really good stay and will definitely recommend this villa!

Beautiful villa, great service but location is not ideal as it’s next to the busiest road in Seminyak. A little bit of maintenance in the room and villa will be excellent. Would definitely recommend to others.

Overall is satisfied . Restaurant is close when we are there but cook come over to cook in the Villa

Our family booked out 5 of the Haeres 6 bedroom villas We had a lovely time staying at the villas The setup was perfect for our family to be able to move between villas in a safe and comfortable way The staff where beyond helpful and honestly made the stay memorable Each staff member put it the effort to check in with us, remember all our names and show genuine care for our needs The location was perfect for us with most of our needs with in walking distance With a notable mention to a great Chinese restaurant, Happy Chappy right opposite the front entrance We would would not hesitate to stay at The Haere next time!

Our stay at the Haere was great! Fab pool and fab service. Breakfast is cooked in front of you every morning. We would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay again if we ever came back to Bali. We asked for a late check-out which they did for us, free of charge! 10/10 stay here, thank you so much for having us and thank you to all the lovely team here!

Fantastic stay at The Haere by Astadala in Seminyak! Cannot complain about anything. Comfy beds, amazing private pool, HUGE bath and just a lovely villa all together. Reception and housekeeping staff are friendly, kind and professional! One staff member in particular, Sari, is an absolute gem! Would 100% recommend to friends and family coming to Bali

We booked to stay at The Haere villa with the family (2 adults and 2 children).  The villa we were provided with was run down and in poor condition.  The villa was not as portrayed in the promotional photos shown on the website, which we can only presume were taken quite some time ago when the villas would have been new.   On our arrival, we were disappointed to find a property that is quite old and appears to have been neglected and poorly maintained.  The walls suffer from rising damp with paint chipping away, and water stained ceilings making it unsightly.  Power points in the bathroom were also coming away from the wall.  The shower/bath consists of a large deep base that you have to climb into and risk falling and hurting yourself - making it quite unsafe.  The shower fittings were water damaged and rusted, with hardly any water pressure making it virtually unusable.  Despite having the taps fully open, the water was just a trickle.  The beds were very hard and stiff.  Doors difficult to open and often jammed.  There was constant noise from the traffic day and night - making it unbearable and impossible to sleep. The wafer thin windows and poor insulation of the property contributed to this.  The internet connection was intermittent and poor. Rusted coat hangers in the wardrobe. The photos used to advertise this villa depict an oasis in the centre of Seminyak that is modern, comfortable and a space to be enjoyed.  However the reality could not have been further from this. We were unable to stay any longer and asked to be moved to a new villa on the premises. We were initially told that they were fully booked and unable to accommodate this request.  We therefore decided to relocate to alternative accommodation as we were so disappointed with this property.  We requested that they at least provide us with a partial refund for the remaining few nights that we paid for in advance on the basis that the quality and condition of The Haere accommodation was not as advertised, and the true state of the property is misrepresented by the promotional photos used. But they refused.

Amazing stay with our first villa stay in Bali. 2 adults 2 kids (6 and 9) The villa itself was clean and comfortable, cooking can be done whilst there (great for kids), pool is large enough for multiple people to swim around and play. (Although deep at 1.6m), the rooms are clean, the staff were simply amazing and always helpful!! Short walk to many restraints and massage places, circle k and other supermarkets. Will def stay again :)

The villa is spacious with a large pool. Everything is clean and well kept the rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is large and gorgeous a great little temporary respite and close enough to walk to all the major semi attraction. Gray staff, and good experience.

Very lovely place to stay and the staff were so friendly and hospitable… very clean with daily service . I would highly recommend this villa for friends, families and couples. The floating breakfast was also lovely and presented well. Will definitely be back in the future !

One of the best villas which you can stay during your visit in Bali. They are located in seminyak center, 200m away from the main fun street, but incredibly quiet at night which is superb to sleep after a long time. They all help you to hire a motor bike, taxi, trip etc. Whatever you need and always helpful for cheap prices around the city, they recommend it accordingly. Villas are super clean and tidy, staff is extra professional on any matter, they immediately respond to any failure. The air condition is good and effective, daily cleaning staff cleans around about 1100 hrs, and breakfast is good and tasty. Definitely I'll stay again when I'm back
