After numerous stays in Bali, my wife and I decided to spend 4 nights from 03/29 to 04/02/24 on the island of Lambongan. This is the first time we're going there. We took a boat, at the port of Sanur, from the Tanis company. After half an hour of fairly calm sailing, we arrived at our destination on Mushroom Bay beach. Plan to exit the boat with your feet in the water up to mid-thigh. When booking on “balionlines.com”, I had planned the extra transport from Mushroom Bay to Mamamia Island Villa Hotel. The hotel is a small hotel structure on a human scale, in the middle of lush vegetation, no more than ten wooden rooms/chalets with covered terrace and relaxing armchairs. The swimming pool, around the chalets, is at a good temperature (for me) with a paddling pool for children. We received the key to chalet number 2. The room, carefully decorated, with air conditioning, mosquito net enveloping a very comfortable bed, bamboo slat ceiling, safe, fridge and drinking water provided every day, and at the rear, rain shower, cool, but acceptable in this climate, is in the Balinese village house style. Breakfast, with either a garnished omelette, banana pancake or Balinese noodles, fruit juice and fresh fruit, hot drink, is your choice every day. The restaurant of the same owner, by the sea, 2 kilometers from the hotel, is located near seaweed aquaculture farms. It is accessible by vehicle for free return trips. We have eaten there several times, the food is good, the sunsets are fabulous and the management offers a discount for hotel guests. The staff knows how to take care of customers, and anticipate requests, whether in the restaurant, at the hotel, or when traveling between hotel and restaurant. And finally, at the end of our stay, when returning to the port of Mushroom Bay for Sanur, carried out by Marlin Lambongan Fast Cruise, happy surprise, the hotel escorts its customers by vehicle, which I did not know. This is the Balinese welcome, well done to the whole team. N. B. Bring: a flashlight for the return in the evening, the absolute black of earplugs, at night, there is life outside.
