While setting up the floating breakfast, monkeys came and ate everything and made a mess of the pool. There were really more than 20 of them. That's ok, but it's possible because it's a pool villa in the jungle. The problem is that the female employee who was setting up the floating called and brought an additional male employee. Both of them couldn't handle the monkeys at all and were helpless. The monkeys washed the bread in the pool and made a mess of the pool. They searched through the trash cans and the sunbeds were a mess. We gave up on the floating breakfast and decided to eat breakfast at the restaurant. The problem was that after we came back from breakfast, the pool was dirty and the sunbeds and food waste were all broken and they hadn't cleaned up anything. This happened when the employee brought the food, and two employees saw the mess and didn't clean it up. It was ridiculous. I called the manager and talked to him, and he said he was sorry and offered a 1-hour late checkout and provided unnecessary services such as drinks. I didn't need the late checkout because I had a schedule. I paid 50 per night for the pool, but time is money. They said they didn't need much from the accommodation fee and asked for compensation at least. They said they were really sorry after seeing the mess and that they understood. When I was checking out, they said they couldn't refund even a part of the reservation because it was made through an agency (trip.com). I was so shocked that I didn't say anything more and just checked out. The air conditioner was banging. The Harman Kardon speakers in the room were broken. Aside from the service and air conditioner, I really liked the accommodation itself.

The service is super attentive. The breakfast is delicious. It is close to Ubud city and you can walk to the Monkey Forest. There are two very good restaurants next to the hotel. The pool view is also beautiful, and I encountered monkeys passing by in groups. The room is spacious and the decoration is very attentive, but the overall style is more like a homestay. There are no hand towels and no trash cans in the bathroom. The yoga studio on the top floor is worth visiting. It would be a good experience to take a yoga class there.

At other times, it takes five minutes to walk from the room to the lobby.
