This resort can absolutely bring me surprise ! I celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend in this resort. They prepared a cake and some decoration on our arrival. The pool flower decoration and floating breakfast are awesome. Yet, the cleanness can be improved. I can find the hair ball on the floor when I just check-in . Also , you may expect some insect inside the room and bathroom even though we close the door. One thing I can’t accept was no hot water supplied when I took the shower. It happened on 3rd day stay. We called the staff to fix and it took us at least 40mins to wait. We woke up early and wished to take a shower then sleep early. The staffs are nice and friendly. You can feel so welcoming.

Beautiful, magical and great retreat. Will definitely return for more. Breakfast was great. Service is 11/10.

Family owned and romantic place in the heart of Ubud!

The service and hotel facilities are excellent

The view is beyond imagination, the service is also very good, the room is very clean and comfortable, the mosquito repellent is very good, the swimming pool in the room is also very beautiful, there is no need to use the public swimming pool, breakfast only ends at 11 o'clock, there are many choices!

The location is not great But the staff are very friendly Was the breakfast delicious too? The main swimming pool is nice. The private swimming pool was a bit cold.

The room is relatively small in a villa hotel, but the feeling in the swimming pool and forest is very special. It's worth it, but there are a lot of ants.

The scenery is nice but ants are unavoidable

Thanks to the mentioned individuals and many others who were around, our five-day stay became one of the most beautiful moments of our three-week journey through Bali. It is people who create a place and give it true value, and that was certainly the case for us. In addition to the photos and videos, we are taking these people with us back to our home in Poland, and it is their names we will recall when reminiscing about our time at Kayon Valley Resort. Most beautiful, amazing & cleanest resort I have ever stayed at in my life! They truly pulled out all the stops to ensure I had the best birthday trip to Bali ever! From the delicious food to the amazing pool decorations and breathtaking views I could not have asked for me! Also the staff made me feel safe and cared for the entire time from check in to checkout Yudu & Gede were such a pleasure!

Magnificent and flawless view from the villa balcony. Friendly staff with great service. Nothing bad to say about anything. Location is great too, close enough to center to be lively but also far enough away to get your feeling of isolation and peace. Will stay again 100% next time were in Bali... One thing to mention (as advice to future guests, NOT a criticism at all), dinner at their restaurant has shows, sometimes dancers or singers, etc. Maybe not all nights but at least three of the 5 I was there. So if you're looking for a quiet peaceful resort dinner maybe order for take away and bring it back to the room lol. Or go out for food, which I did half my nights and assume most people do anyway too. Having said that it seemed like most guest enjoy the entertainment. Personally I'm boring and like it quiet hence why is it not a criticism

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kayon Valley. The hotel grounds and views of the canyon jungle were simply magical. We stayed in room 304, which was way more than enough space for two people, with a huge bathroom/shower area. Also, a big outside terrace area and private infinity pool with views into the jungle, where you can see monkeys playing in the trees - they also come into the resort! The hotel staff were some of the friendilist we have encountered on our travels. The exceptional breakfast and afternoon tea all served with smiles. The hotel is a short distance from Ubud central which we recommend visiting, and worth taking part in the morning walk, where a guide takes you around the local area providing knowledge on the local village, temples and rice fields. Our stay at Kayon Valley was once in a lifetime experience.

absolutely gorgeous villa, conveniently located just 15 minutes away from Ubud city center, yet very quiet and secluded. each villa has a private infinity pool with stunning views of the jungle. and of course, i can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff who are kind, attentive and great communicators. wish i had the option of giving this place 6 stars

My spouse and I had the privilege in staying at The Kayon Valley Resort for our 15th Wedding Anniversary! We stayed in the Jungle Pool room 305 or 306 (my memory fades as it has been a couple weeks) and it was gorgeous. Pros: Feels like a family! With limited rooms, this really gives you the personalized touch. The views... I cannot say more about the views! Absolutely breathtaking! The restaurant onsite was delicious and did not disappoint. The breakfast each morning was included and the food was great as well. The hotel staff was the kindest people I have ever encountered on vacation! Rusdi in particular was helpful, kind, and educated us on some Indonesian culture :-) Everyone who worked there was so lovely! The best pro of this resort is the shuttle service into downtown Ubud! This is offered for free and such a great perk! Taxi and driver service is everywhere, but surprisingly having a driver for the day is cheaper than getting one to to and from. The free shuttle allows you to really explore the markets, monkey forest and eateries. Cons: IF I could list any, this is not really a con, but a must-note... there are a lot of stairs. If you are unable to walk up the stairs, you will be limited at this resort. Again the staff, the views are well worth it, but wanted to mention to get to the pool, lobby, restaurant you will be going up some stairs. Also remember you are in the jungle... with the gorgeous views and lush background, do not forget that you are in the jungle and may see a monkey in the distance while in the pool. During my time in Bali, we realized that the monkeys go for food, so if you entice them with food, they will most definitely make and appearance. We minded our business and so did they. We loved our time in Ubud, and chose to stay here for 6 nights and Seminyak for 4 nights. Food Recommendations in Ubud: Resort restaurant, Simply Social, Donna, Batubara & Acai Queen. Swing Heaven was amazing! and we made our own jewelry at Alas Arum. Highly recommend The Kayon Valley and Ubud, Bali!
