If you had asked me five years ago, "shall i come to Panorama Cottages 2". My answer would have been yes, absolutely. Ask me today and the answer would be a resounding NO. Do not visit. The whole resort is run down and the gardens are a disgrace. At the entrance you are greeted by a fence, broken and buckled beyond repair caused by tree lopping. . And then you enter the building site. This resort was completely Balinese style.. Not anymore. Two storey houses are being built on privately leased land which have nothing in common with the surroundings. Meanwhile 25-30 years old villas are in a state of disrepair with the long term residents expected to take care of maintenance themselves. The swimming pool, if you can negotiate the potholes and building materials to get to, is normally clean. The palm trees surrounding it however, destroyed by a disease two years previous , stand as a testament to owners who are only interested in taking. And not giving back. So to summarize. If you want a holiday or long term stay, with Safety, Privacy and. Peace and Quiet. Do not come here..
