Delicious breakfasts and the most beautiful view

I am very satisfied with the hotel. I was lucky enough to see the sunset. It is beautiful. The swimming pool and terraces at the back are very emotional. It is a very comfortable and airy hotel, and everything will not be crowded because there are not many hotel rooms, all of which are distributed on flat land

I recently stayed at Mathis Retreat Ubud for one night, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is quite hidden, and we initially struggled to find it, but the helpful staff guided us through. The check-in process was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. Our first room had an issue with the air conditioning, as it wasn't cooling properly even after an hour of waiting. However, the manager, Ibu Ningsih, and her team were incredibly accommodating. They promptly prepared another bungalow for us and even upgraded our room. Although some amenities like the kimono and slippers weren't initially set up, the staff quickly provided them upon request. This minor inconvenience did not detract from our overall positive experience. Breakfast at the Teracotta restaurant was delicious, and the service provided by Wayan was exceptional. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful birthday surprise for my husband. The staff arranged a beautiful birthday decoration and cake, making the day even more special. Thank you to everyone at Mathis Retreat Ubud for a wonderful stay. Your attentiveness and kindness truly made our visit memorable.

Not far from the city centre but in the most tranquil surroundings over looking beautiful rice fields. The surrounding area of the hotel has a lot of great walks, cafes and nearby amenities. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, private rooms and has a great restaurant. Be sure to try the tuna! Actually everything on the menu... The staff are very lovely, welcoming and helpful. They ensure you have the best stay possible. We stayed for 11 days and it was the best decision. Also make sure to book day trips with them. They have a wonderful driver and tour guide that knows Bali very well and can help arrange your day out. We went to see waterfalls, temples, the bird and butterfly park and the beach. This was the best way to see all of Bali and still come back to a hotel that felt like a second home. We will be back for sure!

Great hotel, great people, amazing food, complementary yoga session and massage what else does one need. Super comfortable bed, clean bathrooms and a large room overlooking rice fields. I would recommend anyone who is coming to Ubud to stay here.

Great hotel, staff very friendly, large variety for breakfast, all amenities in room. Hotel has tours, which you can organize directly with them for ease at good prices. Amazing massage done at spa as well, best indonesian massage. Alexandre and Diksha vinal

Very nice experience at the Mathis Collection of Ubud ! We stayed 3 nights and everything was very good ! We appreciated the welcome and accommodations that they provide us. I recommend this place 100% !!! The breakfast and rooms are tops too

Lovely place in a beautiful setting, surrounded by rice fields and nature! The pool and the restaurant are top! You can also enjoy a daily complimentary afternoon tea between 3-5pm. The hotel has been made in a Balinese style and the architecture is beautiful! It was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel in ubud and every room is nice& Balinese decor interior design is really beat So tranquil and in a great part of ubud Staff were excellent and food was divine That view is sensational! I will be back hopefully in the near future

OMG best place to stay! The view, the staff, the food all so amazing! Nice pillows, very clean room, beautiful spa & swimmingpool. The restaurant Terracotta is the best! Every day you get the best breakfast. You can select 3 different type of dishes. See my photos to decide for yourself. I will come back.
