We have stayed several times in the past, and everything was as we remembered - excellent service with happy staff, clean room, bountiful breakfast with unlimited hot coffee and brilliant omelets etc. However there are lots of little maintenance issues - broken taps, none of the pool furniture has been upgraded, beach & bath towels could be renewed..... But we do have a gripe about the HOT WATER (rather, lack of it)! Had to run the water for 10 minutes for a luke-warm shower. Complained once and it was better for one day. Could not work out what the problem could be, and of course we coped, but it IS nice to have a lovely hot shower on holiday.

Close to the beach, nice breakfast buffet. The only issue was that our room was close to the pool and it was noisy till late at night because of the music and party at the pool every night.

A good choice for Koreans. It was very old, but it was cheap and everyone was friendly. The location was also very good. Massage is really good, so make sure to get it every day.

The worst hotel experience I have ever lived through! Black mold in rooms 2117 2113.. tiling shower/bath and vanity.. smelt musty and dirty. Towels and bedding grey. Quilt smells dirty. Pool looks amazing but look closer.. the pool is tiled and there is mold in most of the grouting. In the deep end, the bottom 2 feet up the walls are thick mold. The area above the water level on the ocean side of the pool is thick mold.. all around the bar area. Pool towels are filthy and old. Breakfast is fine but repetitive.. and does not cater for vegetarian are healthy meals. Phones dont work properly, couldn't call reception.. had to go there personally. Desk staff not helpful as they Keep giving us the run around, Saying they will check with management , get back to you but never did. We asked for a refund to move to a different hotel within 12 hour of arrival to our room but were ignored. We lost 3 days of our holiday in this hotel before being given a clean room. Room 4218 ( mold free room) I would NEVER recommend this hotel.. especially for children or anyone with respiratory issues.. My room mates asthma was triggered by the back mold. Pillows dirty and smell like mold and vomit.. had to have my pillow changed and when reception staff smelt my pillow... he gagged! In the last 12 hours of our stay I got bali belly .. they charged us a full day to stay in bed for an extra 6 hour prior to our flight. Im at home now, still a touch of Bali belly but so happy to have left that hotel.. Oh.. sitting around the pool I probably spoke to 6 other travellers, ALL had requested room changes for same reasons! (Prior to our week at this hotel we stayed 8 night at the WINA HOLIDAY VILLA in kuta.. not one complaint! Beautiful hotel, staff, super clean pools! ((Room 217) brilliant room overlooking pool!) AVOID PURI SARON. IT NEEDS TO BE ASSESSED BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!

Very large, dated decor hotel. Rooms are basic and there are no lifts, so if stairs are an issue, attempt to book a ground floor room. Breakfast was plentiful but hot food in bain-marie had the appearance of stodgy dinner left overs. However, there was an egg cooking station. Location was very good however.

Friendly staff, great pool with bar, nice and clean rooms, included open buffet breakfast. the restaurant food was delicious and not expensive compared to other restaurants in the same area. 5 stars to the restaurant staff. The hotel is also close to the beach and provides and easy access from pool area to the beach. Highly recommend to give em a visit.

We are currently here now and wish we were anywhere but here. As mentioned in a comment before ours, we are in room 1105 and it is dreadful. We paid for a garden room but that’s not what we got. We have a rear patio that has a rendered wall in front. No view, no breeze, stuck outside with noisy are conditioner motor that blows hot air. Bathroom is dirty and a little mouldy in shower. Repeated requests to change rooms have been denied. Pool is terrible. There is a thick black band of mould that sits about 2 ft off the floor level. All of the grouting in the tiles is black and slimy. The mould around the top of the pool and the coping is enough to keep you out. Would accept this if we paid for a room in a cheap hotel, but we paid top dollar. Staff are amazing and very friendly but the management and front desk staff are hopeless. Check in time is between 11-1pm. We arrived from Lembongan at 3pm and couldn’t get in to our rooms until 4pm. Forget asking for adjoining rooms, we are as far apart as you can get. Booked over 8 months in advance. Hotel is rapidly falling into disrepair and something needs to be done soon. Photos on website are very old and misleading. Would not recommend and will not book again.

We stayed here for 2 nights during April and found the staff polite and helpful, breakfast was also a satisfactory spread, however the facilities of the hotel were rundown and in need of a refurbishment. Our room (1105), requires an urgent upgrade, the A/C was loud and dirty, with obvious signs that the filters don’t get cleaned regularly. The fridge, even at a moderate temperature froze all our drinks, the bathroom reeked of disinfectant, the towels were all stained and if that wasn’t enough there were cockroaches dead and alive in the room. I know you get what you pay for, however at this price point there are much better options to stay in the Seminyak area.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. The spa is amazing but unfortunately that’s where it stops! We were turned off the pool on day 1 with what appeared to be toilet paper floating in the water. We had no hot water for the first 3 days, of which we reported repeatedly, only to be told we were turning the tap the wrong way! On the third day, upon requesting a change of room, the water issue suddenly resolved. Breakfast was basic but suited our needs. We paid extra to secure a late checkout, upon which our air con stopped blowing cold air, after multiple attempts by the lovely engineer to fix it, they decided it couldn’t be fixed. While we were offered half of what we paid, We had to push for a full refund for the additional 6 hours we had paid for. Would definitely stay elsewhere next time.

My one week at The Puri Saron Seminyak Was excellent 👌. From the room to restaurant very good. Beautiful spa. All staff excelled in politeness and professionalism. Food excellent and very affordable. Could not fault this hotel recommend to anyone.

the hotel has international students staying in hotel for period of three months which make this hotel a loud noisy place up to 5am in mornings many guests complained to hotel but no action taken just shrugged and did not care which is a real shame as most staff are lovely helpfull people and a little love and care it would be a great place to stay great location good pool and gardens if i ever booked again would contact hotel to see if students where there or in between groups if they were not there would book if they are there stay away
