Good location, clean room, normal shower, quiet, slept well. The only thing was that there was no drinking water, but that’s not a big deal)

Perfect place with a calm and relaxed vibe in the center of Ubud. Close to many eateries, Monkey Forest and etc. The room is comfortable, breakfast is home made and very tasty. Highly recommended.

You may have a feel of the life of people living in Utud, but at tthe same time you have to accept the primitive facilities in the guest house.

After staying for 2 days, the water supply was cut off on the first day and I couldn’t take a shower. It was such a hot day and I couldn’t use water when I returned to the B&B after a day of exploring. It’s really indescribable to imagine this feeling. When I returned to the B&B at 20:00 the next night, there was another power outage. It stopped going back and forth three times. The owner of the B&B informed the guest that the hair dryer was not working either. Women should not blow-dry their hair after washing it. They should wait for it to dry naturally. I have stayed in a hotel a hundred times, and this was the first time I encountered a water and power outage.

In my opinion one of the best places you can book in Ubud. Fantastic location in the heart of everything. The hosts were so incredibly kind. The room was gorgeous. For the price, you can't do better than this.

I love Umah Anila and highly recommend it for solo travellers as well as couples for short or long-term stay! Putu and her family are kind, warm and very welcoming people who help you with just everything you need. The place is located in a quiet side street but has laterns so you can walk home safely even as a woman (Bali is just the safest place I've ever been to that's why I love to come back again and again as a female solo traveller). Ask if you can be accommodated on the 2nd floor, bc the view is just amazing and if you are lucky enough you can even see Mount Batur <3. The bed is very comfy, there is a lot of light and enough shades and curtains to keep the sun out if wanted. You even find a fan and an AC in the room, which is rare! The breakfast is ok, but the highlight is that you have hot water as well as tea and bali kopi available 24/7 on your private balcony. The family also runs a little shop on the ground floor, there you can find snacks and drinks till 9 or 10 pm each day. If you stay there, check out Gamma's warung next to the guest house, it is just the best and most affordable food I found in Ubud. So if you work at the balcony enjoying your breakfast you get an nice lunch just 20m away. The place is safe and you have always someone from the family there to talk to. All of them speak a ok to good English. Putu's brother drove me 3 hours to Lovina beach in the north, so they really do everything to make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. I already reservated the room for my second stay in Ubud for Christmas this year, as I dont want to miss the chance to check back in with Putu's family and enjoy the calm place is this vibrant city.

Amazing stay with perfect location. Only 5 minutes from monkey sanctuary. The room was very nice with a lovely view and the host is so kind. We also took a tour of Ubud offered by the host for a good price and loved the experience.

Comfortable beds. The bathroom door could not be closed and was broken. The glass doors to the room were open on the sides and did not feel secure even if we locked them. The staff was nice. The breakfast was ok. The location was central with walking distance to what we wanted. Totally ok for 2-3 nights.
