I love everythings in this hotel. The concept is back to nature. So don't expect a gym. The hotel provides bicycles. There is yoga every Monday afternoon. There is taichi every Sunday morning. The place is very quiet. The room is big. The bed is comfortable. The food is good. But there is no buffet for breakfast, they provide ala carte. But you can order all the breakfast menu. They also have afternoon tea everyday from 3pm unti 5pm. My suggestion add more variants for the room service menu, especially the main course. Other than that everythings is good. Oh one more thing, all the staff very friendly and helpfull. They services very good. Thanks Alila.

Nice hotel and nice pool but I was expecting a very nice spa. Alila is well known for it and this one was a bit disappointing. The massage was good but the place not that great, a random hotel room instead of a nice dedicated spa.. out of that all good. Maybe a bit noisy, the insulation is not very great window could be renovated

Great place if you want to do absolutely nothing and be away from the centre of town. Great staff and clean rooms. Wifi is extremely slow and could do with an upgrade.

Advantages: The public area of ​​the hotel is really beautiful. Although the facilities are old, they are really well maintained. Although there is a village nearby, it is easy to get a taxi. The hotel has many paid activities, but they are very expensive and not cost-effective. There is a small restaurant outside the door. It is very cheap and the taste is OK. Disadvantages: The hotel swimming pool is very beautiful and I can't wait to get in the water, but! ! It is very dirty. There are all kinds of debris in the water, and the water is turbid. The swimming pool is also very slippery, as if there is moss, but I also see many foreigners who can soak for a day. In addition, if you order at the hotel restaurant, the menu is all in English, which is a blind spot for those who are not good at English. The portion is very small and expensive. Breakfast is also ordered, and there are very few varieties of self-service fruit, bread and juice. Try to order breakfast, otherwise it is really not worth it to go to more than 200 per person. These two experiences are not good when staying here, and everything else is OK.

I stayed on the east coast of Bali to avoid the crowds. I just lay down in the hotel and watched the sea. I went fishing and snorkeling in the morning, ate the fish I caught in the restaurant at noon, and had a massage and swam in the sea breeze in the afternoon. After leaving Manggis, I went to Ubud. I saw traffic jams everywhere and commercial streets. I suddenly felt a little uncomfortable.

A very cost-effective hotel, very quiet, with few people, the restaurant is delicious, and the service is good, but the room facilities are...but the price can't be said much.

I stayed here for a family trip. It was a very pleasant place and the service was good too, so I felt very happy!! If I have the chance to go to Bali, I think this is a good hotel to stay at.

I really don’t recommend coming. The room I was assigned to stay in for the first time had two huge bugs on the pillow. I called the hotel staff to deal with it, but they only changed the pillows and no other bedding. I fell asleep in the middle of the night and the air conditioner in my room broke down. I called the staff to change my room. I waited for more than half an hour and sweated a lot before the staff was ready to take me to a new room.

After my stay, I extended it for another day. The relevant information is all written in that review. The hotel environment is very good, right on the beach It's very comfortable just lying down in the hotel without doing anything. You can also lie by the pool or go to the afternoon tea table All in all, a good hotel experience

Everything is correct and worth the price. The only thing I can't fault is to try not to choose a layer. It is relatively humid and northerners are not used to it. Service is good, hardware could be better.

A great first-stop in our Bali adventures Alila is a lovely welcoming resort hotel in East Bali. We arrived in the middle of the night and were greeted by super friendly night staff who quickly got us settled in out three rooms offering to sort out the admin the next day which was welcome. The rooms are comfortable – though Hubbie and I rowed over the use of the AC – with basic shower/wc section and the washroom in the main room. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the pool and lawn. Restaurant excellent – a short walk across the lawn – with a lovely introduction to Balinese cuisine. There is no beach here, but a lovely pool, views over the sea and a yoga platform with evening yoga classes which we made use of. Trips organised by the hotel were excellent with knowledgeable staff. We spent a day exploring temples: Another morning walking through the paddy fields (take trainers) which provided some super iconic photos of rice fields and volcanoes and finally had great fun cycling from the top of the ridge next to Agg all the way down to the beach. All of these are accompanied by a local guide. The mountain bikes provided by the hotel were in good condition, which is just as well as the small roads we took were very very steep, mostly but not exclusively downhill, and at times shared with cars. Not recommended for younger children or inexperienced cyclists. That said we cycled through villages that clearly rarely saw any tourists, visited the “clans” – blacksmiths, silversmiths and really got a feel for the non-tourist side of Bali. This is a great hotel to relax and enjoy' Although it is a little bit away from the main towns the environment is quite and relaxing food is high quality and service is of a high standard. We have stayed here many times and can highly recommend it.
