In principle, I recommend it. Standard, daily changing breakfasts according to national cuisine. We didn't see any cockroaches. The air conditioner worked properly, yes, it was noisy and old, but during the day you are so busy around the city that you don't pay attention. The pool! Oh yeah... In the evening, when you are there, it's hot... mmm... that's the only reason to stay here!
I would like to separately note the SIM cards at the reception. For 350 baht we got the Internet + calls for a month!
4+ rating from our family. The renovation will be absolutely top notch!

I liked it, the location is gorgeous, the pool is very good, the breakfasts were just great. The girls at the reception are just great. But yes, the towels are third fresh, and the room is a bit tired. And there were ants if you leave fruit on the table. But still - if we are in Bangkok we will stay here.

The staff was super kind and I enjoyed the pool, the breakfast and the proximity to Khaosan Road. My only issue was with the AC and bit musty smell of the room I stayed in.

The parent-child room is quite large, and there is a corner balcony for drying clothes. The facilities are old, and the air conditioning is not very good. It takes a few more hours to cool down. Generally speaking, it is acceptable.
The hotel breakfast is not rich but enough. The biggest highlight is the swimming pool. For hotels in this location, it is rare to see a swimming pool of this size, and basically there is no sun after 3 pm, which is very relaxing.
The hotel is very close to Khaosan Road, and there is a shortcut to get there. It is very close to the Grand Palace and the pier.
